I wish that everyone would take a step back. Trump the successful Presidential candidate advanced our interests far more than we ever could have hoped for. Trump the President was a failure only in that the expectations he set as a candidate were not met. The expectations at the start of his campaign were that he would be a joke. What he ended up doing was crystalizing a nationalist sentiment, forever ending the prestige of the legacy media ("fake news"), and relegating Hillary Clinton to a historical footnote. Any one of those three would have been a positive value output from the orange retard.

I don't know what the regime will do or what Trump's base will do. My guess at this point is that the Senate impeachment trial will sputter along and quietly go away and that will be that. I hope that the Senate will convict him and that the Feds go after him and his family, because that has the best long term outcome for us.

Best case for the reaction from the base is that they tell Trump "lmao rekt" and let him twist in the breeze. Worst case is that they rally around him and he sucks the air and money out of the room. Very important that we don't let this happen.

I would argue that a lot of Trump's base really wasn't too different from the neocon base. Some of it was -- the part that actually gave him a winning margin.
