How is it brave to make your unborn child live through hell an act of "heroic"?
Is it brave on the behalf of the parents or is it brave for the child?
As a lawyer if a company with a bad product caused her normal healthy children to be as mentally incapacitated as a victim of down syndrome she would sue the hell out of that company, yet they think that it's fine to make a person suffer through 40 or more years.
Conservatives only care about how they are perceived by the public and not the end impact on the unborn little person. They're like that CEO who went to the news
to get him fired after he told her that he wouldn't serve her because she's pregnant, and he didn't want that on his conscious.

How is it not selfish to make a 2nd child to have such birth defects?

There is no such thing as an "unborn child". Before it is born, it is not a child.

How person status works is "Does the mother want the child?"
If the mother wants her child she'll pressure her husband to spend the equivalent of a new house on medical treatment.
If the mother does not want the child she would sue anyone who got in her way of an abortion.

Republicans would boast that they didn't abort their child, while knowing that every work day they send their child to a specialist facility to be taken care of around the clock by a large staff without any chance of that child functioning as an adult.

Its fine to produce something that doesnt give back to society, as long as you yourself produce enough capital to prevent society from ever being responsible for it.
>make baby
>baby retard
>get money
>society doesnt pay for retard
as opposed to
>make baby
>get retard
>make society pay for retard
>get pats on the back for being brave
This is about an awakening as much as any other political post on here; Make people value society and a future for their children and in turn they will make vastly different choices in life.

I can't stand the far left, but It is the extreme fundamentalist Christians that created them as a reactionary force. Calling people who don't agree with you demon worshipers is pretty much what the radical left does with anyone who doesn't follow their dogma.
You're two sides of the same coin; both idiots.
I didn't hear the Christians calling the US military demon worshipers when they were completely destroying the infrastructure of Afghanistan and killing masses of people there.
You're perfectly fine with killing people when it benefits you, or your power structure tells you its OK. At least try to have a little bit of intellectual integrity.
I don't think women should be getting abortions just because they want to avoid the responsibility of parenthood. At the same time, I don't think people should be forced to raise children that will be eternal dependents with nothing but a life of misery ahead of them.
The kids wind up hating their lives because they are useless and no one will ever love them, and their future is only one of dependence and loneliness. The parents wind up hating their lives because they are forever bound taking care of said people who have no future and no real worth.
This is the result of your "love" and the "miracle of life" you push: All around misery. The Christian women who have these children have to believe this because it protects them from the despair of their reality. But that's pretty much what a large part of religion is.
