Completely ignores that: a. there were some advancements made under communism, though not as much as the west by a long shot, and b. much of the west's greatest advancements were not made under capitalism, but under mercantilism, royal patronage, theocracy (universities used to be religious institutions), wartime mobilization, and national socialism.
The biggest issue of all though is that communism and capitalism aren't even enemies. Communists will gladly enslave peasants to pay for western businesses to set up factories there, which is why Stalin claimed that capitalists would sell them the rope they would hang them with. In a world of competition, you'd be a fool to turn down a juicy government contract, even if it's against your long term interests, because if you don't someone else will. This is why even Henry Ford, who knew better, did business with the USSR.
The USSR was just a scheme by a bunch of jews to enslave Russia and turn it into their rape pen, which is why a bunch of jewish capitalists provided all the funding and diplomatic backing for it, but they slowly abandoned it after Stalin proved that it was too risky for them. China though is a more successful model because they've adopted capitalistic/mercantilistic planning while retaining full ideological control and using no cult of personality figurehead. They've even got a social credit score based on a beefed up version of the banker's credit score system, coupled with surveillance tech that would make the Stasi green with envy. Replace the politburo with the Kahila and you've got the jew's ideal control system. What would you call that, capitalist or communist? It's both, and it's disgusting and terrifying.
