Confucianism for the common rabble, Legalism for the life-affirming aristocracy, Taoism for the individualist æsthetic hippies.
For real tho, I'm trying to get into far eastern thought but been slow. Reading other stuff. I like Taoism, judging from my shite-tier studies, because I'm not strong and healthy enough to be a cool-arse royalty so I'd prefer to just sit around nature and look at the pretty mountains. I like the whole 'Dao' metaphysics as well.
OP, what do you think of Neo-Confucianism?
What is the closest there is to Nietzsche or Camus in all of far Eastern thought?
