>What you are describing is what anyone typically feels after dopamine sensitization, which in this case is induced by deprivation from porn/imagination+fap
Dopamine plays a part, but the benefits that predominantly increase my overall pleasure and experiential pleasure are related to testosterone. The benefits I value from nofap are also found in weightlifting, sun exposure, and short-term testosterone boosting supplements like 1-XD. There's many plausible theories that link testosterone levels to semen retention, and the idea that porn consumption is somehow related to testosterone levels is dubious. At any rate, testosterone increases quality of life, and nofap increases quality of life
>doesn't directly improve your quality of life, as I said, but gives you the necessary aids(i.e. exhibiting behaviours which are more attracting to the opposite sex)
The quality of life improvements I experience from testosterone boosting methods and nofap alike have nothing to do with the opposite sex
>In my own experiece, as well as others', it makes you generally angrier and more willing to dominate others and not be dominated
I've been on this board for a while. I've seen people describe this reaction to semen retention and nofap, but they're few and far between. Most people that do nofap, as well as most people that use alternative means of increasing testosterone describe either having a greater quality of life, being happier, or being calmer
>One would be smarter to realise the antagonism between the pleasure forms and pick the better, more fulfiling one
Hedonism and "Eudaimonism" aren't mutually exclusive because hedonism isn't a sucked dick and a mouthful of chocolate cake
>I'm talking about objective, biological desires
Desire to fuck =/= desire to procreate
