So I've listened to this song a couple times now and I honestly don't like it at all, I can't see myself listening to again.
It's very pop sounding and shallow, it kinda just starts and ends without leaving much of an impression. I do appreciate another song where Ride isn't yelling but this sounds like it could be on the radio.
Hopefully they're doing this to intentionally subvert expectations, like how Eh was completely different to the rest of Bottomless Pit. I can't imagine DG would put out an entire album that sounded this tame, especially after dropping Steroids.
If I were to rate this song I'd give it a 5 or 6 out of ten. It's listenable but very forgettable.

I think it feels so short because it's full blast for nearly the entire album, rarely slowing down or pausing. I'm not a big fan of that, personally. I think the biggest mistake they've made in their newer albums is they lost their sense of pacing, typified by the lack of a single long, journey-like song: Beware, Artificial Death in the West, Whatever I Want, etc. They have some tracks here to slow down the pace, like The Horn Section or Outro, but it's like going top speed and then taking your foot off the accelerator instead of just pressing the accelerator lightly - the intro to Dilemma is like hitting the brakes. These long songs also provides a focus for the album, and without it, it just feels like a collection of singles. I also feels like it's lacking those "bouncy" songs like Two Heavens or Double Helix that slow down the pace but still up the intensity.
