I'm currently learning the piano using Piano Booster (which interfaces with my piano via midi over usb). I think it's really nice but I'd like to buy some sheet music (or music book?) so I don't have to hook up my computer when I want to practice.

Is there any go- to music books that contain songs that are easy to pick up by novices? Or what/ where should I look for?

I don't know how good you are, but you should pick books in a program. I'd recommend the British Royal conservatory, but there are many others. Here's some of the ones I know of.

Also, learn your fucking scales and arpeggios. I would recommend also getting a theory book. It helps when playing.

If that one it too simple, check a higher grade in that program. This is a grade 6 piece, for comparison.
