Black MIDI usually sucks, because the artists have no talent and on the way to add more and more blank notes they just forget how to make the music listenable, or even interesting. So in the end it's just a shitty gimmick.
On the other hand the Bad Apple cover is really good black MIDI, that's the only thing I like probably.
