Hello anons, I'm looking for some happy albums. Everything is always so focused on fucking or depressing or anger and not enough energy is focused towards a such a simple emotion.
I don't mean feel-good music or happy in a pop way, I mean true joy, not something written to sound happy. Something in the vein of Pet Sounds or Paper Mâché Dream Balloon.
I just finished listening to the latter album for the first time. This is gonna sound stupid but it brought me to tears. The good kind of tears. Minus Trapdoor, it's such a warming album.

I was always under the impression that link related was "Homage to Patagonia" though. I like this one way better.

Triumph made alot of albums with a positive vibe
a buddy of mine proclaimed REO Speedwagons 70s output as "happy rock and roll"; i suppose the same could be said for Boston

I think "Treasure" is another good example.
Tigermilk also comes to mind, at least the first half.
