I read a manga called Hakui no Ou-sama which is about some cool mad science bros. Not a monster girl manga, but they do have an adorable robot loli maid. The premise is that They go out and slaughter brain eating furfags. According to the MC, the furfags have shit brains and they think that if they would become better if they eat the brains of normal functioning humans. The MC claims that furfags are a mistake and must be eradicated. Anyway, robot loli is cute as fuck.

The story sounds like a means to an end for lewd monmusu situations. It's as if you handed some rando from /monster/ a blank piece of paper and just said "give us the plot for the next monstergirl story" and that was that.I have mixed feelings on the art. I like the fantasy aesthetic but it also kinda feels like standard fare for this sort of thing. This sounds like something I could possibly like so it's hard for me to completely shit on it. I'll be cautiously optimistic.

Lemme compose a list of scenes I hope to come up

>Bedpan joke with about centaur chick getting embarrassed by filling it too quickly because HORSE PUSSY PISSING.

>Doctor guy has to remove an ingrown scale from lamia chick. People think their fucking by the noises they're making. "It's not like I like you or anything baka!"

> Spider chick has a clogged spinneret. Doctor has to physically remove clogged webhole with his hand. They end up getting webbed on. How embarrassing.

> Obligatory harpy oviposition because you have to have that in this kind of show

>Some kind of joke about a monstergirl with smaller tits trying to get the doctor to give her bigger tits. Said monster girl will have a rivalry with a bigger titted monstergirl

>The 700 year old dragon loli making lewd jokes at eh expense of the doctor. "It's okay doc, just stick your whole fist in like I'm the centaur".

Other medical joke related humor will be good. I hope the guy writing this can spin some good situations out of healthcare tropes and such. It mite b cool if it can do that while telling a good story. It doesn't have to be great but I hope it turns out good.

If recall correctly, the damage done to long term marriage success rate drops significantly for every extramarital partner. Going from about 90-85 down to 60-55 after just one. Women are physiologically primed to pair bond, because they need to in order to keep the man around, the father of her children. If he leaves, it has an adverse affect on her mental well being through stress. Whores will typically call this 'catching feelings', but will brush it off to continue whoring around. This behavior gradually accumulates mental scarring that makes them utterly unfit for any serious long term relationship. Male virginity is worth less, I think it takes a man having something like 19 different sexual partners before he is as unstable as a woman who has had just one.

By extension, would a husband abandon his wife if she was forced?

The real damage comes from repeated pump and dumps where the woman generates feelings for the male. From the perspective of being forced, often a woman will mentally isolate the incident, yes, damage occurs but not as much as the woman associating the people around at the time with the incident. Feelings of self loathing are common and get reflected into the relationship with the partner she had at the time. So I don't think there is an answer, it really comes down to how much damage are you willing to put up with.

>From the perspective of being forced, often a woman will mentally isolate the incident

This is also an important thing to keep in mind. The damage from 'used goods' comes from living a life where they used their sexuality in exchange for status and resources. 'The cock carousel' phenomenon. I wouldn't put women who were raped into the same box as those who went out and had sex with the first hot guy who bought her enough to drink at a bar, and then realized by age 30 she was in competition with 20 year olds and decided it was time to settle down.

Interesting takes. A story I'm working on features a damaged-goods character and her struggles with love and sobriety. I'm afraid I may have put some people off by having the protag be intimate and care for her. The concept of what one should do vs what they actually do make for good drama so I'm thinking I'll keep the damaged goods-character as a primary love interest until further on in the story when more oh so dramatic shit happens.

One more thing. you have to consider is that the average woman and man has shit taste, and they put themselves in no win scenarios. they often try to find some person that has a few of the qualities they like and try to put up with it due to appearances. Instead of finding someone that fits their bill and is average looking. pretty faces fuck it up for people because they are chased by weirdos or they tend to create more broken people.

I don't adhere to the MGE so my thoughts on succubi are they have no redemption. They're sex demons. They either fuck continually to extend their youth by sapping the life of others or they stop fucking and wither up.

Monogamous long-term relationships won't work since they'll end up draining their prospective partner until there's nothing left. The tragic nature of the succubus is that if she were to feel genuine love she could never indulge in it without harming the one she has affections for. I think this feeds into the lore of succubi abandoning the notion of monogamy and simply indulging in sex all the time.

It's more a necessity for their sanity than some lurid lust. They're must adhere to their hypersexual nature or cease to exist. With that kind of existence I think you'd have a dichotomy emerge. Those who embraced their sexual nature and acted as a succubus would be expected to act and the opposite being a more benevolent if short-lived succubus that cares too much for others rather than satisfying her lust at the expense of her longevity.

>The quiet and shiftless girl that keeps to herself.

>you try to be nice to her and she's nice enough back.

>Whenever you try to advance the relationship she spurns you.

>You eventually find out she passed away at a young age and you lament her death as you would any good friend.

>You never knew her unrequited love for you as she watched from a distance while you courted other women.

that is the bad end for all "good" succubi.

>>329958

It's a not a sword and board kind of deal so most of the tension and conflict will be emotional rather than action based. I don't want to shill here but if you skim the writefag thread I'm sure you'll stumble across my writings in there somewhere. Some stuff there is hit and miss quality wise but when there is a good work it's generally really good. I'm speaking for others when I say this of course. I'm too biased in favor of myself to be a proper judge of my own work.

>A bad end for the Succ

I suppose that Succubi may end up like that simply as punishment for their original purpose as a corrupter of lust. In a way, it's almost just, if we assume that we're dealing with a monster lord at all and that whole chunk of lore.

In another vein: What if the lore of Succubi is wrong? The point of a demon is to corrupt men. It goes against the devil's proclamation that he will turn the world against god. What is the point of killing when making happy couples has a far greater political impact? In christian society, sex is viewed as holy, something only for reproduction in his name. If men fuck succubi, then god would take a hit to the 'ol credibility. It would be the churche's best interest to spread nasty rumors about the opposition.

Men have an innate curiosity to the forbidden (we're on this board), and succubi are recognized to be pretty open sexually, so the temptation is readily available.

According to accepted knowledge, they apparently fuck their boys to death. Since the church would lose massive credibility if they were caught lying (the bible tells us that lying is the hallmark of the devil), they would have to twist the truth to allow them to slander succubi.

The church refers to life being given from god at creation, and at death the "living force" returns to god. The implication being that god owns the stuff that makes us alive. Of course, if god owns us, it becomes our responsibility to assist his organization, wherein the only time we are absolved is when we die.

Since succubi are the living embodiment of lust, the vast majority of men would be hesitant to give up a beautiful fucking machine who's sole purpose is to make a happy couple. Because the rest of the population would turn on any man who fell for a succubus, the couple would have to run and hide rendering the man "dead" to the church. It becomes easier for the church to create the story of a man killing succubus than to explain the turmoil in the heavens.

I prefer the more tragic twist of the unrequited love. Also, I have a drain fetish.

For the sake of discussion though that would probably make for an interesting story. I wouldn't want to tie it specifically to traditional Christian or MGE lore since you may get contradictions popping up on how things actually work. Basing it off such things is okay but I don't want to be held down by the rules of some other universe or my own.

Without writing a whole plot synopsis it would be something along the lines of

>Succubi longs for love but knows they passion will end up hurting their partner

>their conflict being "I need to figure some way to keep from draining the life force of those I love and also keep from dying"

>they research and work to find a some to live that doesn't involve stealing life energy

Granted in my view the life drain is automatic when coitus in being practiced whereas with lots of doujins you can fuck a succubus indefinitely and only get "tired". It feels like a cop-out. Of course, that's part of my fetishism butting into my storytelling but

that's always how I rationalized the succubi's behavior. I guess the guy dying after an extended period of fucking counts as gore for some so the more popular (and less appealing for me) trend is to just make succubi dirty sluts that fuck everything without consequence.

So that I understand you. You're saying that the power of love (gay) will overcome whatever drives them to perform the life drain or that it's like a switch they can turn off and they simply choose to not turn it on?

Where is the conflict? At that point, you'd have to shift it onto an external problem rather than it being a problem with the succubus. Unless of course, you want to go full slice of life and have it be a more light-hearted story where the succubus strives to be a gud girl and find love.

The only problem with that is I've seen that story a least a few times before in various doujins and I'm sure it exists in a few different animes. I want to see actual tension and drama in the story.

you missed the forest for the trees, imagine being shoved in a cultural difference because of territorialness , there is conflict in being in a situation with a cultural gap. Think about it the mc and the love interest will find themselves in situations that might cause friction, like society and expectations. Imagine if it does go wrong because of a misunderstanding or because they both don't know how their respective societies work.

Think back to what that boxer said about no women getting him other than one of his own group.

The way that succ's get treated in most doujins is pretty lame. Even here, their pretty glossed over. The closest I've seen to a good treatment is in All's Fair in Love and War, and she wasn't even a succ as I recall.

Using love as the "god from the machine" feels cheap. It's a fun premise, and there might be a way of doing it without slapping and reader in the face with it. A prime example of face slapping is Eye's in the Dark on TFT. Great story until care-bear levels of "power of love" right at the end.

If tragedy is what you're after, I suppose that a succubus or even a vampire would actually be a good platform. It just isn't my cuppa, I see so much bad shit that sinking into a story with a good or even neutral end is the escape.

You don't necessarily need a succubus to tell that story. You can have more than one conflict in the story; interpersonal vs societal vs biological vs supernatural and so on.

>>330140

If there's a demand for it I'll see about working on a succubus story. That could be something I would enjoy but I have a couple other projects to sift through first.

As much as I enjoy tragedy I also enjoy redemption, comradery, romance, and whatever else. As far as stories go those aren't necessarily mutually exclusive themes. Zoom out a bit and I think you'll find very few stories that are simply nothing but tragedy or nothing but happiness. Those would tend to either be depressing or dull respectively. I enjoy stories swing the mood as necessary and have satisfying payoffs for the reader if they've paid attention.

If I were to note a problem with a succubus story it would be the whole lurid expectation. I'd really have to craft a compelling narrative before I could dedicate any words to a word processor on it. Otherwise, I'd feel like I was felating myself with every syllable.

In the end you're writing fantasy. Everything goes so long it's consistent within the world you're building. So just go on ahead. I like well written drama as much as I like well written comedy.

As far as succs go, I'd love there to be more content about them. Particularly wholesome content, because most of the content that does exist is about as far away from wholesome as /v/ is away from being decently moderated. And let's be fair about this: for obvious reasons. Then again, I'm really biased for them, because I really like succubutts and they're my #2 in MGE (#1 is KC's Demon). It's kinda weird, because I'm a huge vanillafag, so vanilla-demon or succubutt is bestgirl for me. I guess I just really like their depraved, provocative appearance, while having enough sense to not want anyone who'd act out on that anywhere near me.

Anyway, I have my own idea for a drama involving succubi, although I don't think I can get myself to writing it. I started a Manticore story and have a hell of a time getting back to writing it, even though Anons keep mentioning it in threads after all this time. I just got really demotivated after what happened with my last story.

It's pretty good. Does a decent job world building. Goes through maybe 4 stories about the doctor. Unfortunately, I foresee the MC either never deciding on a girl or going the harem route.

Basic setting is, monsters and humans have been at war for so long the both sides forgot why they were fighting and got tired of it. MC is a genius doctor, specializing in monsters, in one of the only cities were humans and monsters co-exist. His snake assistant is his childhood friend; who was sent to his family as a hostage by her family when both their families were conducting illegal monster human trade during the war.

It's real fukkin' vague

I thought it was referring to her albinism initially but then there's the implication was that it was deadly. Later it's flat out stated that it's fatal and not even the Scylla doctor who trained both of them could do anything about it.

That Scylla, by the way, is the primary cockblock for reasons that are never properly addressed. Like if she has an ulterior motive, whatever, but the stated reason is "She doesn't want them to fuck and will destroy their clinic and run them out of town if they do" and that's a little too unreasonable to be understandable in-universe. The picture is when the lamia ceases to care anymore a tries for a good rape but is debilitated by poison before she can go any further. Hell in the second volume she flat out in clear language, no mumbling no "EHHH NANDE?" bullshit, no misunderstandings, says verbatim: "I love you, Doctor" and it just kinda hangs there because they both don't think they can do anything about it. I'm just going to assume the Scylla knows she has A TERMINAL DISEASE™ since her medical knowledge borders on psychic abilities and she's trying to save the Doctor a tragic love or something like that. If I were in that position I'd slap the Octopus until she's stops being a bitch or she kills me.

But honestly, the most irritating part of this is the Horse. The main couple is one bottle of whiskey away from fucking like animals but the Centaur doesn't seem to care and the Doctor refuses to say he's not interested out of either spinelessness or not wanting to hurt her feelings. That last part is really damning because right after the Lamia says that she loves him she also says she hates that there are a bunch of women who're throwing themselves at him. Hell the attendants for the Centaur basically said that he can fuck them too if he marries her.

I will say it's not quite as bad as MCs usually are. He was embarrassed at the confession but it wasn't spaz-tastic perma-virgin shrieking. Just tell off the damn horse. He has a childhood friend Lamia who was basically responsible for inspiring his career path and he's not making tiny sneks already

I think he incurable disease is referring to love. In all fairness I can understand why Cthuluy doesn't want her two students rutting like animals when she's the one who gave them the medical practice, the whole not shitting where one eats and all that.

It is stated outright that Sapphee being an albino is a hazard to her health but she takes precautions against sunlight, thus the skintight bodysuit and umbrella.

Also I think that Glenn might actually be interested in the horsepussy he just wants to focus on his medical practice and would have to give that up if he were to marry Tisalia, as he would be the heir to the shipping company.

I do agree though the horse marriage plot is annoying.

I really hope there is more of Kunai in the next volume she is way more interesting than the horse and spider at this point.

>I think he incurable disease is referring to love.

I doubt it. It's either tragedy bait in a "you can't save them all and I'm going to take the person you love most to best illustrate that" tragicness or building up to an "ultimate challenge" where he does manage to cure her at the end of the series. You know, that sort of "use everything you've learned so far to save someone who's been with you from the beginning" thing.

Also there's this line:

>"There were two illnesses that even a doctor cannot cure."

>"The first was a fatal disease. The other was a fever brought on by love."

Unless there's something off about the translation it seems to make a point of saying at the moment she was suffering from two diseases.

Also the idea that neither the Scylla nor the Doctor could cure her. All that would require for a cure if lovesickness was the issue is the Scylla stepping aside long enough for her to get the Doctor into bed. When she has his dick his heart and mind will surely follow.

No, KEY AIDS is a vague illness, usually characterized by a 'weak constitution', that can have the character die at any time. Typically at the time for greatest dramatic effect and can only be cured by wishy washy magic bullshit.

I was referring to the character design KEY tended to put out

The point is made that her albinism made her sickly when she was younger but it's said more than once that she's plenty healthy now save for the sensitivity to sunlight. After some of the shit she pulls it would be bullshit if she suddenly started wasting away with the "Oh she had a weak constitution all this time" explanation

I know I'm dealing with LN-tier writing here and this is literally the first time I've bothered to read one but I'm going to try to give the benefit of the doubt that the story specifically stating facts multiple times won't be ignored later

It's clear there is magic in this world, though it's low so far. The author was smart enough to wave away some of the bullshit with the flesh golem using magic (Why does reattaching severed limbs with thread matter if the bone should still be broken? Cause the magic that keeps her sapient and moving says so) It's also brought up that the pair know nothing about magic and if anything cures her it'll probably be some radical procedure with radical ingredients so it'll probably feel a bit more earned than: "She's just better now, yay!"

Yes it does say that but the next sentence even says "Sapphee knew very well that the intense fever that Glenn brought about in her was an illness that even he would never be able to treat. But that was fine. She didn't want to be cured."

And considering who Cthuly was able to diagnose a patient without even seeing her I think we'd know by now if Sapphee were dying.

No where does it say she has the first, and the chapters name is the Lamia with the incurable disease. (not fatal disease). As there is no mention of her being sick or even ill at all in the next book I say its safe to assume shes healthy. Maybe they make up some illness later but why would Cthuly send her best students on a trip if one of them was at risk. Its just a mushy metaphor for getting clam blocked by life and Cthuly.

Ok, I was lead astray by that line thinking the mentions of fatal disease were specific to her and not fatal diseases in general.

Then this also confirms that she's loved him since childhood then because she thought in retrospec her disease would render her unable to kill the Doctor and his family if their family's trade negotiations soured. That just makes it so much worse to be her. At least she can console herself that marrying the horse presents an identical problem to the one she has, then

No worries. I had to go back to see if I had missed something myself, I think the first book was just not edited very well there was quite a few typos in the first edition of volume The second volume seems to have had those issues ironed out.

Also mentioning the trade negations and the plotting that went with it, I really hope that in future volumes the author goes more into the background of this war, not to a grimdark extent but I at least want to know how Skadie helped found the town and convinced Cthuly to build the hospital. Seems like an interesting period to be explored.
