I'm pretty interested in Japan too but wouldn't ever live there I think.. They get much bigger earthquakes because the fault lines are different. Also they have the worlds biggest hornet and other pretty terrifying things like that but I guess that probably wouldn't bother you. Sadly, I don't get any of that with the Normal Edition. It's just the box with the phone, not much branding either, apart from just… the box, the color and some theme you can slap on any phone I suppose (not even the theme, the theme is only for the Limited Edition version, but with some app you can put in on this one.)
Either way, even if it had those goodies I wouldn't be using them in order to preserve them and not much point in a power bank/phone case if you don't put it to use.

Couldn't you make some sort of synthesizer using the sound synthesis chip on the mega drive rather than having to use samples?
I could use a line in, but I honestly don't know if I even need my synth to be in stereo sound. It might just be best to use mono anyway. There's a lot of menu diving in order to change sound parameters, so it might just be easier using a vsti synth.

I have a chiptune tracker for it now but didn't have it at the time. There are some nice plugins for it in FL Studio too but the good ones cost money or are otherwise difficult to find
FM synthesis is pretty difficult, megadrive instrument presets are preferable (I tried making some instruments and it sounded bad so its better to use presets)

I noticed that moisture forms on my window sometimes because its colder outside than inside so the window is cold compared to the room. I've been wondering if a heat sink or something similar could work for condensing moisture from the air but haven't made anything that works yet. I've been watching a lot of anime this season because I think a lot of them are pretty good. There's this adventure anime called made in abyss which looks pretty interesting. There are also animes with isekai in the names one of which has yummy looking food and the other is about a smartphone element in a magical medieval looking world. There's also this Knight's Magic anime about medieval looking magical mechs. I think Sakura quest is pretty good even if its about slow rural life. And then there are random funny animes like Aoyama, a clean freak on a football team.

Well, of course you should show your concern for your mother and her health, but don't let it weigh you down, because she will feel like a burden.
My grandfather cannot move well or do much at all anymore, and everyone treats him like a baby, asking him too often if he needs anything or whatever… He told me directly that he appreciates the fact that I still treat him like a normal human being, instead of just an old person in need.
While it's hard to deal with sometimes, you have to make sure you do that.

Also its only a transformer and a transistor so its pretty easy to make and can be really small I've made some simple joule thiefs and they worked fine for me. If you'd need it to be small and output alot you could use many small transformers I think (I haven't tried that but pretty sure it would work) The tricky part is just knowing the right ratios of the windings

From what I read on sudo there's not that many new users to the site so its mostly just moving the attention of posters around from other boards but most posters just keep to their preferred boards and you might not wish someone from a shitposting board or a raiding board messing up your board..

tako here for a quick update on how my life had been going
if you guys remember about the girl i was talking about a long time ago i doubt it
so i ended up saying yes when she asked if she can be my girlfriend and on our third month we had decided to get a kid
did her the whole day and was dissapointed when she had her period the next day she didn't tell me it was her time of the month
oh and im working in a construction company that pays $100 a day in which im about to quit soon for a lesser paying job but a lot less stressful and a has much more stable timeframe

Well I could understand them. It depressed me what happened, the damage that was done, - this is putting it strongly - but just to explain how I felt, so it basically made me stop posting. It showed how easily everything can be lost, so what was the point in the first place?
Then a little later in the month I started that new job, so the lack of time didn't help either, so I was gone for a fair bit of time.
But everything is fixed now. Apart from a few flags that are missing from a few posts, and maybe some emojis? I'm not sure.

Nah, I actually used to post on 4chan before there were any archives, things were simpler back then, but the dynamic of the site was different, so it's not comparable.
I wouldn't mind archives or (you)s disappearing from 4chan. What I would miss are backlinks. -the one and only real improvement the site ever got.

This was more a reference to sites like mikuchan disappearing, mikuchan also used to have archives but those are gone too and it's only a legend. Imagine that happening to /miku/. It happened before it can happen again. Pretty depressing.

I'm not concerned with 4chan archives, little of any value was ever posted there, and whoever cared saved it. 4chan is better when things are transitory and for the moment. In /miku/'s case this is more like a forum with an image board skin.

I think its also because its difficult to get boards going so that they gain any sort of prominence so there were like over a 100 boards that might have been good but because they never got found out about and never picked up in activity they just went unnoticed and were forgotten like /radiocontrol/
It might also have to do with the niches and most of the users of the site not being into those niche things. I'm still not sure if its good to advertize a single board in the board announcements since it might just fill that board with shitposts, trolling and spam but users might not use /dir/ or /boards/ if they have to look for it and click multiple links

I actually was curious if the public mod account had some post editing functionality. Sadly, no suck luck. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to enable it to allow you to edit posts made by your IP. You also kinda have to consider if there's any reason to use your board and not something else. Like I tend to forget about /teto/ even though I like that board. Its because its kinda reduntant with all the Teto's on here (I don't really mind)
Now that I think of it there's also /utau/ but how active is that one?
Despite it not being on google I think it could still get new users but I think google has taken over a lot of the internet also because of their dominance of youtube and the smartphones (which are sold with android pre installed)
I guess in a way the site might itself seem redundant to other chan users except when something happens on those other chans.
I would've posted a bit on /yukari/ but the more specific a board is, the less likely it might be to gain traction as a good board
Original content could also play into it, if there's little to no original content and another board could be used instead then the board might not have much activity on it
