It runs fine for me, it plays fine for 2-3 hours then I have to restart it due to micro-freezing, stuttering, but otherwise I have to not warp between areas a lot or warp just between two. three at most, which is annoying if you have to go Firelink frequently.
The game doesn't free up memory from previous areas very efficiently and it starts to clog up. I've seen it on powerful rigs too, the more the streamer plays, pop-in starts to appear more and more, then freezing etc. Hopefully they will optimize a bit in the GotY version.
Don't have Steam remember? But I do have this. Hopefully with a not detached disc tray. I was lucky on this one, won it from a raffle near release, so it spared me 60 bucks (price at the time)
