🔹Destiny Somersall, 41, of Martinsburg, was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison for sex trafficking of a child.

🔹Somersall befriended John Balch, 76, of Florida, who requested photos and videos of a minor in exchange for money and gifts. Somersall sent sexual photos and videos of the minor. One of the videos included a 2nd victim. Somersall later agreed to drive the teen to a hotel in Maryland for sexual contact with Balch on multiple occasions.

🔹Investigators found at least 60 cash transactions between Balch and Somersall over a period of two years totaling $13,725.

🔹Balch was indicted in Maryland and pled guilty to related charges.

A group of Senate Republicans introduced a bill to provide Israel with $14.3 billion in additional military aid, the same amount for Israel that’s in Biden’s request. The $14.3 billion is on top of the $3.8 billion that Israel receives from the US each year. Johnson, an evangelical Christian, has expressed support for continuing the proxy war in Ukraine but says Israel is the priority.
