Direction in AC games is bad. Like in all of them.

They tried to be more dramatic in PS360 generation and it resulted into sillier anime plots and characters but with the same old shitty direction and presentation.

Character Designs in Metal Gear franchise are shit. They are boring cliches, mostly "borrowed" from western media. Yes I know it's Kojima who borrowed them, and it was character designer's job to dopt them into something original. Too bad none of them looks or behaves original. I know some anons fap to his artwork, but it looks shallow and derivative to me.

00 like any Gundam show has a mix of good and bad designs. Nadleeh is garbage but Reborns Gundam is pretty nice, and the Tieren has a charm to it, it looks more industrial and more like it's meant for military use than other Zaku-type mobile suits.

Yeah, they should have specified. The artist they're talking about did the mechanical design for GitS: Arise, which is not Shirow's work, simply based on it.
