If you wanna talk about neat mech statues, then there was a pretty neat one built for Titanfall to promote its release.

Too bad it wasn't a very good game.

From dram pod 9's website-

" Built to advertise Activision's Heavy Gear PC Games, the Life Size Hunter was a massive model of a Hunter built from wood, PVC tubing, and metalwork. It was first painted in desert colors, but was remodeled and repainted as a Black Talon Dark Hunter for the release of Heavy Gear II.

This artifact is unfortunately lost as it was last seen somewhere in Activision's warehouse somewhat similar to the end of Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail.

there were photos from some Russian club get-together where they had a paper Gundam that looked to be 7+ feet tall

there was also a disco ball in the pictures
