Yeah, I quickly checked them out to see if that was the case. They cover some foundational things in animation and some flash tools that make animation in that style a little easier. Personally I used to animate a lot traditionally, but I've gotten to the point where I realize I need to take a few more shortcuts to get the workload a little lighter so I can actually finish projects.

Yeah, I've actually watched a few of his videos. It's as you said, very knowledgeable but not terribly skilled at art. Sadly the most he gets into rigging is with a character in one view for a one off skit. I need to design the characters from different angles and to be reusable, as well as how to animate the characters switching those angles. I hate to say it, but I may need to start looking for some MLP rig videos or something…
