I want to practice drawing cubes from different perspectives and I've found this website that allows you to create a cube and rotate it any way you want. You can also make the cube transparent.

Now if only there were something similar for cones, cylinders and pyramids.

Of course I could also download Blender and use it to create and manipulate those forms, but it seems like a waste of hard disk space…

Fuck it, I'll just install Blender or some other program.

This page is the closest thing I could find to what I'm looking for, but it doesn't have all the shapes I want.

That's pretty cool.

Have you tried Geogebra? It's a free geometry program mostly used in lots of math classes for 2D constructions, but there is a 3D mode as well and I would be surprised if it had no cones and other canonical shapes.

The link you're providing only does cubes in isometric view, which is not a good way to practice "perspective". And you don't really need anything to practice drawing cubes in perspective but the basics. All you need to know is two things: horizon line and vanishing points, that's all.

After doing cubes you can learn how to make circles using squares as a base, which will help you draw cylinders and cones easily.

For anything specific that you need help, just ask.

Sorry to burst your bubble but a much more effective method of developing a sense of form and primitive shapes is to just knuckle down and draw basic objects from life. Copying flat images doesn't really help with comprehending form unfortunately.

Especially if said flat images represent even flatter isometric shapes; you're just getting a double whammy of useless and potentially detrimental practice. Study from real life objects, trust me, you have every basic shape required to study at any angle ín your house man, no excuses.

Why not just use some IRL objects? It'll force you to not just draw the general shape, but also give you practice making the lettering wrap around things like a beer or soda can. You also pick up a bunch of other necessary things like lighting and weight from drawing still life.
