I'm looking for a few good books on Norse Mythology and Greek Mythology. Any suggestions on some good ones?

Edith Hamilton's Mythology is a classic introductory text. It's almost entirely Greek and Roman myths. There's only a chapter or two in the back about Norse mythology so I would look elsewhere for that. And if you want more Greek and Roman mythology, then read Hesiod, Homer, and Ovid's Metamorphoses. I don't know much about Norse mythology myself so I can't recommend anything there.

Like a deep study? If so, here's an old infographic that links their classics.

If you just want the basics of their mythology, Hesiod's Theogony gives you a good survey of the Greek pantheon.

Nothing too deep. I want to learn about old pantheons. Way back in high school we learned about about Greek and Indian ( feather not dot) mythology I wanted to learn more, but I never did. I'll look into the suggestions listed so far. I don't know much about Norse, but it seems really interesting.

Bullfinch's Mythology is good if you just want a casual overview of the mythology of the various different parts of Europe throughout the ages. It consists mostly of Greek, Roman, Norse, Charlemagne, and Arthurian mythology.

Forgot to mention, if you're interested in something more in depth try these:

The Saga of the Volsungs

Poetic Edda

Prose Edda

Nibelungenlied

Where would I find a complete and free as in 'if I find it interesting I will buy it' digital copy of Mythology by Edith Hamilton?

Eliade's History of Religious Ideas is a good general overview, grab a PDF and read the chapters you are interested in. For a more specialized view, look into Georges Dumezil, Mitra-Varuna has a very interesting subsection comparing Odin's position in his pantheon to the other indo-european derived cosmocratic deities.

Why did hamilton even bother adding the one chapter on norse myths at the end of her book?
