I do see a rise in non-affiliation in people, although, I just believe they haven't found the right movement for themselves.
That is coming from a former centrist perspective.

Centrism is usually just apathy and not wanting to be involved, pretty much saying "everything is fine, or at least isn't horrible, so let's not stir the pot." I think centrism is disgusting in this aspect since it's used as a tool to avoid confrontation when injustice is taking place around someone.
