>I was only 9 years old

>I loved Ludwig von Mises so much, I had all the books and Mises Institute™ merchandise

>I pray to Mises every night before bed, thanking him for the Basic Economics™ I’ve been given

>"Mises is love" I say; “Mises is life”

>My dad hears me and calls me a libertarian utopist

>I know he was just jealous of my dispersed knowledge of Basic Economics™

>I called him a logical positivist

>He slaps me and sends me to go to sleep

>I’m crying now, and my face hurts

>I lay in bed and it’s really cold

>Suddenly, a warmth is moving towards me

>It’s von Mises

>I am so happy

>He whispers into my ear “Economics is a study of human action.”

>He grabs me with his powerful economist hands and puts me down onto my hands and knees

>I’m ready

>I spread my capital markets for Mises

>He penetrates my enterpreneurial spirit

>It hurts so much but I do it for von Mises

>I can feel my allocative mechanism working as my production structure becomes more capital-intensive

>I lower my subjective time preference against his voluntary savings

>I want to please von Mises

>He roars in a mighty roar as he fills my economy with his capital

>My dad walks in

>Mises looks him straight in the eyes and says “Tu ne cede malis.”

>von Mises leaves through my window

>Mises is love. Mises is life.

>Basic Economics

Wrong author

 No.62461

He's probably making a joke on how libertarians constantly tell people to learn "basic economics". Which is all kinds of stupid. Why would we tell them to learn "advanced economics" when they don't even understand the conditions of exchange?

An anti-state right-wing libertarian Austrian Economics writer professor and entrepreneur was teaching a class on Murray Rothbard, known economist

"Before the class begins you must get on your knees and worship Rothbard and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Adam Smith!"

At this moment, a brave, Nobel-prize winner, pro government-intervention advocate who has written over 1500 columns in the New York Times and understood the necessity of central banks and fully supported all the economic decisions made by the Democratic Party in regulating the contradictions of capitalism stood up and held up the Social Contract.

"Who will build the roads, alligator arms?"

The arrogant professor smirked quite Jewishly and smugly replied "Private entities will surely build them, you statist."

"Wrong. Had private firms been enough to build the roads then the government would never have had to regulate them."

The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and copy of Human Action. He stormed out of the room crying those libertarian crocodile tears. The same tears libertarians cry for the "taxed" (who today, because of government, live in such luxury that most own refrigerators) when they jealously try to claw justly earned wealth from the common good. There is no doubt that at this point our professor, Irwin Schiff wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a sophist austrian professor. He wished so much that he had a government welfare check to support his family, but he himself had petitioned against them!

The students applauded and all registered Democrat that day and accepted Hillary Clinton as their true president. A bull name "Animal Spirits" rushed into the room and climbed on the desk pulverizing it to jump start the economy. A Tract on Monetary Reform was read several times, and Janet Yellen herself showed up and ordered another quantitative easing across the country.

The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He was thrown in prison for tax-evasion, and would later die there.

The student's name? Maybe you've heard of him: Paul Krugman.

Quality shitpost. Best of the worst we've had recently.

Meh, it was uninspired. I rate it 7/10 anyway because I lost it there:

>He whispers into my ear “Economics is a study of human action.”

>"Before the class begins you must get on your knees and worship Rothbard and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Adam Smith!"

Perhaps that's so unfunny for the very reason that Murray despised Adam Smith anywhere he could, blaming him for appraising a false LTV and thereby conceiving what would further be adopted by Marx in "Das Kapital". Rothbard pretty much favoured physiocrats (especially Turgot, Condillac and Cantillon) ,late scholastics like School of Salamanca and pre-classical economists like Gresham, Locke or Copernicus.

Somehow, people don't quite understand that Adam Smith is economic history at this point. Do they really expect libertarian economics not to have progressed significantly since 1776? Smith was a friend of the market, but in theory, he's closer to Marx than the modern Austrian School.

In the original pasta, it was "Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Marx and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Jesus Christ!" so the comparison between Murray and Smith does work.

I am not sure if this is the original one, but it's the first and most common one I have seen, I have a dozen of them in a notepad, plus a few screencaps and the one posted ITT was done by me(I always wanted to do one).

Anyway here is the "original" one:

A liberal muslim homosexual ACLU lawyer professor and abortion doctor was teaching a class on Karl Marx, known atheist

”Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Marx and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Jesus Christ!”

At this moment, a brave, patriotic, pro-life Navy SEAL champion who had served 1500 tours of duty and understood the necessity of war and fully supported all military decision made by the United States stood up and held up a rock.

”How old is this rock, pinhead?”

The arrogant professor smirked quite Jewishly and smugly replied “4.6 billion years, you stupid Christian”

”Wrong. It’s been 5,000 years since God created it. If it was 4.6 billion years old and evolution, as you say, is real… then it should be an animal now”

The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and copy of Origin of the Species. He stormed out of the room crying those liberal crocodile tears. The same tears liberals cry for the “poor” (who today live in such luxury that most own refrigerators) when they jealously try to claw justly earned wealth from the deserving job creators. There is no doubt that at this point our professor, DeShawn Washington, wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a sophist liberal professor. He wished so much that he had a gun to shoot himself from embarrassment, but he himself had petitioned against them!

The students applauded and all registered Republican that day and accepted Jesus as their lord and savior. An eagle named “Small Government” flew into the room and perched atop the American Flag and shed a tear on the chalk. The pledge of allegiance was read several times, and God himself showed up and enacted a flat tax rate across the country.

The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He died of the gay plague AIDS and was tossed into the lake of fire for all eternity.

Semper Fi.

Just to be cleat the text is the one I was referring to, not the pics. Anyway here are some others, including one that was clearly done by /leftypol/.

A Christian Conservative Closeted homosexual lawyer professor and preacher doctor was teaching a class on Trickle-down economics.

'Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Reagan and accept he was the most highly created being that the world has ever known, even greater than Jesus Christ.

At this moment, a brave, communist, handsome, pro-choice Spetznaz champion who had served 15 000 tours of duty who was charitable and hardworking, and fully understood the necessity of socialist revolution and fully supported all military decisions made by the USSR stood and held up a rock.

'How old is this rock?'

The arrogant professor smirked quite Conservatively and smugly replied, "5000 years you ignorant atheist."

'Wrong. It's been 4.6 billion years since the planet formed it, if it was 5000 years and creationism, as you say, is real…then it should be christian now."

The lanky and irreputable professor was visibly shaken and dropped his copy of the Bible. He stormed out of the room with conservative crocodile tears streaming down his face.

The student all applauded and all registered Socialist that day and accepted Atheism. A bear named 'Communism' walked into the room and perched atop the American Flag and shed a tear upon the chalkboard. The Internationale was sung several times, and Karl Marx himself showed up and enacted class warfare across the country.

The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. After losing all of his stolen Christian gold he dies of the complications from an unaborted pregnancy and was tossed into a sea of nothingness.

The end.

==========

A praxeological anarcho-capitalist Mises Institute professor and contractual voluntarist was teaching a class on Murray Rothbard, known paleolibertarian. "Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship the free market, and accept that the accumulation of exploitative private capital and contractual slavery are the only means to world peace, and taxes are literally Hitler!"

At this moment, a proud, marxist-leninist dialectical materialist comrade who had page-by-page annotated the collected works of Marx and Engels, and tattooed the Theses On Feuerbach to his inner eyelids, held up a copy of Human Action.

"Does man act and think of his own volition?"

The arrogant professor grinned (voluntarily) and conservatively mumbled "of course you statist islamic obammunist nazi. all thoughts are causa sui. if the poor have no bread, let them eat cake"

"Wrong. Our values, desires, and preferences are inculcated in us by ideological state apparatuses, the bourgeoise controlled superstructural sphere which infuses our defining social practices and the belief in our self conscious agency through interpellation. They are but products of social reality and the reproduction of the modes of production by the superstructure, further engendering the base in reciprocal, dialectical fashion."

The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and copy of "Liberty Defined: 50 Essential Issues That Affect Our Freedom". He stormed out of the room crying those unregulated, market chosen tears (his property ofcourse). There is no doubt that at this point our professor, Hans Hermann Hoppe, wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a racist bourgeois capitalist interested in somehow being against immigration despite his libertarian stance (???). He wished so much that he could reconcile with Habermas, but the market had selected against it!

The students applauded and all linked hand in hand singing The Internationale, marching to emancipate the workers from their enslavement, overturning the private ownership of the means of production and accepting the end of history and class. An eagle named "The Proletariat" flew into the room and perched atop the volumes of "Das Kapital" and shed a single tear on the stack. "What Is To Be Done?" was read several times, and the spectre of communism itself showed up and demonstrated how the history of all hitherto existing society was the history of class struggle.

The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day (by his own choice). He died of dehydration rather than (voluntarily) drinking fluoridated water and his "books" were disregarded for all eternity.

Oh, and that student's name? Maybe you've heard of him: Louis Althusser.

Fresh OC

A German idealist philosopher of religion was teaching a class on G.W.F. Hegel, known historicist.

"Before the class begins you must get on your knees and worship Hegel and accept that his philosophy is the most dialectically synthesized that the world has ever known, even greater than that of Fichte!"

At this moment, a brave, transcendentalist, post-Kantian philosphical pessimist who had given over 1500 unattended lectures and understood the principle of sufficient reason and reconciled phenomenon and noumenon stood up and held up the Thing-In-Itself.

"How does mankind advance, charlatan?"

The arrogant philosopher smirked quite Prussianly and smugly replied "Through the supreme dialectic of the Zeitgeist, you misogynist."

"Wrong. What you attribute to collective consciousness is a categorical example of post hoc ergo propter hoc."

The philosopher was visibly shaken, and dropped his government granted Thalers and copy of Phenomenology of the Mind. He stormed out of the room crying those obscurantist tears. The same tears Hegelians cry for the "alienated" (who today, because of compassionate acts, live in such morality that most need not fear acts of malice) when they jealously try to justify their ill-motives with collective responsibility. There is no doubt that at this point our professor, Johann Eduard Erdmann, wished he had pulled himself up by his desires and become more than a sophist Right Hegelian. He wished so much that he had lived a life of asceticism to subsume his egoistic acts, but he himself was blind to them through his belief in Sittlichkeit!

The students applauded and all became antinatalists and accepted homosexuality as a necessary evil. A falcon name "Will" flew into the room and landed superior to a plaque upon which was inscribed the word "KNOWLEDGE." The Upanishads were read several times, and Gautama Buddha himself showed up to preach the Four Noble Truths.

The philisopher lost his stipend and was fired the next day. He was thrown in prison to fulfill the law, and would later die there to fullfill the means of the law.

The student's name? Maybe you've heard of him: Arthur Schopenhauer.

Its the last day of economics course and I’m in my last class on capital theory.

I’m talking to my super cool professor.

I thank him for an a priori fantastic year

He says “It was DEMANDing, but we got through it”

N-No, It can’t be.

I turn towards him.

Its just as i suspected.

It was Lord Keynes this whole time.

I lunged after him, trying to shove copies of "Human Action" into his pretty boy anus, but it was no use.

As I uncovered his anus, Joan Robinson emerged, and puts a price floors and ceilings on me, making the wages sticky.

It’s all Keynesian now.

Just as I thought my last enterpreneurial spirit was being stripped from my economy, Mises crashes through the price ceiling. Yes. Without a moments hesitation, von Mises grabs Keynes by the capital theory, points out his misunderstanding of Say's law, and debunks him with praxeology

Joan Robinson tried to defend classical economics and labor theory of value, but von Mises pulled out his copy of "Value, Cost and Marginal Utility" by Bohm-Bawerk.

Joan Robinson burns to ashes.

von Mises deregulates my economy, and gives me my enterpreneurial spirit back.

I grow in both quantity and quality with a low time preference from his massive Austrian savings stock.

Mises is love, Mises is life.
