>Going to city hall

>Getting my new passport

>Get in the queue

>Only one queue open, seven or eight persons in it

>No one is standing in the second queue, but the clerk-girl and a fat, tattooed security man are having a nice conversation

>At least two "no-phones-allowed" signs posted

>Get out my phone and make pictures

>enemyofthestate.jpg

>Get called in the second queue before everyone else

>Get served

Here's a story I heard:

>High ranking judge

>Has a degree in law and medicine

>Working at the chamber for medical liability

>The chamber never has to call an expert witness because this judge is as competent as any medical examiner

>One day, he gets a kid

>Calls his supervising official

>"Hey man, can you keep me at my place of work and not transfer me somewhere else? I want to spend time with my young daughter! Pretty plz :3 "

>He is transferred somewhere else

>Quits his job as a judge the next day, calls his supervising official a faggot, opens a clinic and gets rich

One of the most highly qualified persons imaginable, and the state drove him into the private sector. Now the chamber has to rely on expert witnesses, who cost a few thousand dollars per case, who aren't readily available on a day's notice and who don't always talk with the judges on a level they can understand. In the long run, this might cause a million euros worth of damage, every cent of which will be externalized to the citizens.

what is the source of your pic? I always hear arguments of high administrative costs of charities.

 No.57611

Usually the ones with high administrative costs get their money from political money laundering like Susan G. Kolman, Boy Scouts of America, or the Clinton Foundation. They also happen to be the largest nonprofits for that reason.

That is also a separate park no less. Gravesend Park and Elmhurst Park, two public parks with multi-million dollar bathrooms!

Pretty much anyone I've known that ever worked in public sector has griped extensively about several of the coworkers doing fuckall. Wouldn't surprise me, given NY. Even if it's the less shit part of the state.

>complaining about public sector while living in the USA

Never come to France, you will have a heart attack

Since the government has to expend resources to collect its income it will never be as efficient as a private charity which people voluntarily pay into. The fact that government tends to attract the types of people who are after a gravy train also increases inefficiency.

Here is the Stossel update on that $2 million bathroom. Good grief, basically why cut costs when you are spending someone else's money.
