Would a country founded by /kind/ anons do well? What would it be like?

Let's just say I doubt the average imageboard user is mentally sound or competent enough to achieve such a feat, but anything is possible, I guess.

Probably like France, but with a very small population.

 No.30419

lol, no. Unless we were Sealand 2.0 we'd get bullied into submission and have all our stuff taken within a week. I guess it would be a fun little experiment to see how long it takes our Diamond Dogs platform to get blown to shit. Lemme just get some pocket change so I can pull a medical platform out of my ass.

You can't find a country on kindness and expect it to not be overtaken or subverted immediately.

Much less by anonymous neets and shut-ins.

Probably not. Most of the NEETs here don't have much experience running countries. I think /tg/ would probably run a pretty decent country, but /kind/ would end up being too kind without understanding when oppression is necessary.

The fact that such an idea seems plausible to the average person says a great deal about our civilisation and how far it is from actually being civilised.

Europe is mildly /kind/ and it's getting flooded with rapists, murderers and other various third world people because of how easy it is to walk all over them.

So many aspects of everyday life resolve around concepts of dominance and submission. People willingly fantasize about being in power or being dominated. You can see it everywhere, every day, in commercials, shows, all kinds of hierarchy Everyday casual conversations and basic body language have to do with this mechanic. However desperately we want it to happen, I think there's just no way for humans to detach from it. There's always be the oppressed because there will always be people who get off being in power. There are literally neurochemical mechanics for the givers and for the takers. How can we make humans stop wanting to oppress? Maybe in some posthuman virtual reality utopia scenario, where all human desires can be satisfied through artificial games. For example, let's say we have people with basic desire to protect and die for their tribe, country, or family. AI puts them into the game where they can bully, kill and oppress each other virtually, in the game. Then they walk out of the machine and they don't feel the need to oppress. I don't see any other way

Well it would have to be a secluded island so unkind nations don't try to hurt us.

 No.30444>>30446

It would be remarkably passive, incurably neurotic, probably lethargic. It would make it a week, possibly two, before someone finds something worth owning on /kind/'s soil and decides to ignore diplomacy.

On the other hand, we could practice appeasement to a dangerous degree, and stay alive as some other state's pet retard.

Now, if we got together with >>>/tg/, >>>/k/, and maybe a few others, that's different.

It's good to have friends of course, that's the point! For what we produce they'd protect us and teach us how to fight!

… W-what do you mean pay you for protection and not /tg/, /k/…?

 No.30447>>30449

Every board seems to be trying to start their own country. If it isn't /kountry/, it's Outer Hea/v/en.

But to answer, probably would be very nice, but we wouldn't get much done.

We are not your /kind/ of people!

Won't be cast as bullies, posters that you hide!

You're right that it's a flaw in human brain structure more than anything. Political systems can be designed to lessen the risk and mitigate the harm of a tyrant gaining power, but it's impossible to eliminate completely.

The solution in the deep future is either going to be to build a benevolent AI to rule, or modify humans to get rid of all the maladaptive junk evolution has given us. In fact, both of those things are probably going to happen at some point.

For now the best we can do is try to be good individuals. If that means letting people get away with doing bad things, so be it. It's better than sinking to their level and adding more suffering to the world.

That was cute, anon.

Well I do always keep the basics of CQT in mind. Did you rike it?
