Is there any external ballistic calculator software for Linux that I can install without admin, sudo, or Docker access? For the longest time I was using the JBM Calculation web page, but the owner has just taken everything down and there doesn't seem to be much else out there. And anything that is out there in the form of a web page can by yanked down at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
Ubuntu's software manager has nothing. I have pestered various AIs about it and they are all trying very hard to hard-sell me on the virtues of the same two or three Github project pages, none of which has anything that is compatible with this particular build of Linux, and I am not willing to wipe my HDD and start over to install one software package. No, I can't run a Windows package using Wine. I've tried. It spits out a gorillion lines of glibc errors, .NET errors, permission errors, path errors, etc., just like everything at Github does. Is there anything out there, or am I just hosed?
