Since the NRA has stopped remotely pretending to be pro 2A, let's burn them to the ground (We'll figure out where to get a tank to drive over the wreckage later)! The most effective way to do this is to cut off their money: Observe how deeply afraid of this Marion Hammer is in her writings. The best way to do that is to ask the retailers that give money to the NRA, both directly and as a donate to the NRA, to stop doing so. This is how Gawker was killed. Even if they don't pull out outright, there will be some powerful men very angry at the NRA.

Like where? The majority of firearms-specific venues I'm aware of are populated primarily by boomers, zoomers, and tongue-cluckin' Zumbos, so I'm not how well that would go over, not unless you mean other imageboards. But yeah, I'll spread the word around.

Also, when I embark on these sorts of ventures, I tend towards dead tree format snail mail and old school manual typewriters, out of personal preference more than anything. Does sending a physical letter have any more impact than an e-mail?

It's relatively true that ponyfags are pretty much the most pro-gun cartoon fandom there is. It also attracted a lot of conservative/rightist/libertarian dudes as a result of the social movement involved with the show, and reactions to SJW/leftist/communist attempts to co-opt it such as the Pinkiepony faux pas. Lauren Faust and the show staff's own thoughtcrime autism helped to bolster fans in disagreement as well. Tabitha St. Germain and Michelle Creber are pretty good traditionalist waifus, though.

Since we almost succeeded in this in 1977, the NRA has made itself co-opt proof. You need 75% of the board of directors to remove the all power CEO (Wayne LaPierre). We couldn't get 75% of the board to remove Wayne LaPierre when he was caught outright embezzling money and refused a direct order to stop in 1997. Why the fuck do you think we can do it now?
