There's a massive labor shortage in America because teachers with bachelors degrees have taught generations of students that they also need bachelors degrees, and now there's a shit ton of unemployed university graduates and no one to work in the garages and factories and workshops except a handful of Americans and a shit ton of illegal aliens.

Just put cops in schools, give them all of the same equipment they'd have as beat cops, have them talk to the students, and for fuck's sake give them the power to actually enforce the law. Might reduce the "fuck the police" mindset of the modern youth a bit if their only interactions with police aren't being busted for smoking behind the gym and pulled over for speeding on the way to school.

Nah, it's mostly because Griggs v. Duke Power Co. made it illegal for companies to give people applying for a job IQ tests to sort out the useless ones so companies started using college degrees as a proxy for intelligence instead. Credentialist mediocrities becoming gate-keepers is a problem too but it started with Griggs.

History teachers, in my experience, seem to be the least pozzed. Had a guy in my freshman year of high school that would read off the course-required powerpoint made by the same (((people))) who wrote the textbook, then go over how much of it was bullshit and what actually happened.
