Reading the lawbreakers plebbit it's interesting to see JUST how deluded they are. I suppose it must come from autism. They get obsessively interested in the game and can't let it go when it dies. The game itself isn't good at all and is plagued by many technical problems, but even if it was somehow decent no one is going to touch shit like this.
It's interesting to see people try to explain this as well as the retention problems. Quite a lot of people did try the game but they quit after a match or two simply because it's not good. Why exactly they waste their time on plebbit doing that is another question. It's good that they do though because it's fun to watch from a trainwreck point of view.

My guess would be Nexon is handling the servers and they run all their different games across them. If one game is doing shit it doesn't matter because the same staff / servers / capacity are also handling other games. Nexon probably rent servers from Amazon or some other similar virtual server "cloud" host.

JUSTbreakers is aggressively bad in terms of the game itself and the marketing/shilling. The whole thing has been obnoxious from beginning to end.
Comparing it against Paladins is interesting because although the game holds no interest to me you can see a very generic rip off game is still considerably better than JUSTbreakers in every regard. It has positive features that appeal to normalfags so they'll at least try the game, even if in small numbers. For example having non-ugly characters to use in marketing and some promise of it being fun or energetic.
In contrast JUSTbreakers only has negative features. Is there anything there that isn't an outright attack on potential players?

Despite the censorship, complaints about cheating are continuing. Basic cheats work just fine because there is no "anti cheat" in the game. Cheating has now become endemic and even the fanboys are recognising the game has about a week left.
Looking at a basic cheat like "speed hack" shows how poor Boss Key's programmers are. If you're not a complete retard you have probably thought to yourself "can't they just detect someone is moving too quickly on the server and automatically ban them?" The answer is yes, that is trivial to program. Calculating the velocity of a player is quite simple. It doesn't matter what the cheater does on their computer, many cheats are easy to detect server-side. Other types of cheats like aimbots are harder to detect in the same fashion, but contrary to what many fanboys will tell you, not impossible if you hire real programmers rather than soy boys / diversity candidates.
If they wanted to review footage of games can't they just watch the "replay" of the game back from the server? Unfortunately this and many other things are simply far beyond their technical capability. Remember that Lawbreakers doesn't have a "kill cam" because the shitty engine cannot replay back previous game footage (constructed from a log of the game actions).
A game should not have a bolted on "anti cheat" system, rather it should be fundamental to how the client-server model works. You'd think the unreal engine would already do all of this. I find it quite surprising that it does not enforce a strong model of constraints and state in the game world. Imagine if a bank system was programmed the same way, you could just decide as a client to withdraw more money than you had if you edited the website's javascript. Ridiculous.
