I'd recommend you look into the hadith sciences and process of authentication, its actually a very thorough and intricate process thats even held in high regard within academia today. To put it into perspective, even our weakest hadiths are more authentic than the bible. We acknowledge that there may be fabrications in the hadith, but that is not mean we reject it all, if you want to reject a hadith you have to come with good evidence against it.

Also just a word of advice, Islam is for all aspects of life, not just something that should be personal and kept separate from everything else.

And also this hadith rejector argument falls flat on it's face when we know in the quran there are messengers who came to warn their people and teach them to worship Allah alone, but they did not come with scripture. So these followers only have this messenger's sunnah to follow, which is also considered revelation from Allah. Now obviously not all hadith are authentic but you can't really comment without studying it. So an average muslim is more likely to not know the context.
