I made a similar thread some months back, but it was deleted in an 8ch hiccup where other threads were also randomly deleted. I thought that this may be a good time for the thread for the reverts to bond or for lurkers to see how relatable Islam is. :)
My story:
>be raised as Christian (specifically Catholic) in the most religious region of Europe
>family has been Catholic since the religion was first to the pagans here in the 10th century
>parents move family west for move opportunities
>be exposed to various different viewpoints and religions for the first time
>enter a period where I want to become a priest
>ironically start learning about Islamic theology in a World Religions class at a Catholic high school
>woa religion makes sense for the first time ever
>personally take the Shahada alone at 16
>4 years later take it with Muslim witnesses
and here I am a year later. :)
I reverted to Islam because it made sense in the ways that Christianity didn't. If not for Islam, I would probably be an atheist right now.
Post your stories bros and sisters.
