Salam. I read an article a few months ago regarding the permissibility of certain sexual acts in Islam. The article brought up the story of Lot offering up his daughters to the sodomites. They then included the opinion of a certain scholar/imam(unsure) who said something along the lines of this scholar arguing in favor of sodomy with the rationale of "Lot knew what they actually wanted".

I am not arguing that sodomy is okay, but the article had several other questions and answers for. I am moreso trying to find this specific scholar for more research. Thank you.

So was he justifying heterosexual sodomy? Because if that's what he's implying then he's wrong.

The Prophet SAWS (Peace & Blessings of Allah be upon Him) also said: "The one who has intercourse with a menstruating woman, or with a woman in her rectum, or who goes to a fortune-teller, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 1/243; see also Saheeh al-Jaami', 5918).

Lot (a.s) actually wanted them to marry his daughters and to stop being homos. He wouldn't have sent them to be anally raped, a prophet wouldn't do that. So whoever says that is a deviant.
