ex-girlfriend gave me this book and I still appreciate it. Wondering if there is an Islamic version?

Also what books are you currently reading?

There are literally thousands of books of Muslim poetry. Rumi being one of the more famous examples.

As for what I'm currently reading, I just picked up a copy of Stephen King's new book "The Outsider". It's pretty good.

He was a Persian Sunni who studied Sufism. "Sufi" is not an Islamic school. Any Muslim can study Sufism. Regardless, however, he is one of the more famous Muslim poets.

Not to trust him? He's a poet. What is to trust or not trust?

Well, that's just silly. You shouldn't read into things that aren't there. It's just poetry.
