God didn't create rape. God forbids rape and it is punishable by death. Pretty much every Muslim school child knows this.

I would say you're over-thinking it a bit. Yes, we were given the capacity for wrong-doing because we were given free will. We can choose to follow the right path or the wrong one. This doesn't make Allah evil.

Let's say you have a son and you give him a car. He can choose to follow good driving practices or he can speed, ignore traffic signs, and cause mayhem. Neither you, nor the car, are in the wrong. You just gave him the choice.

God gave the humans ability to chose and if he didn't then there will be no point if heaven and hell because they didn't chose what to do. In exam students answer questions and teacher doesn't stop them but judge them after. Obviously it's not that similar because god helped us alot. People will be judged in judgment day and everyone will be given his justice. The difference is that atheists think there is no judgment day so when someone is murder they start with where is your goddd but everyone will see results of what he did in judgment day. I believe that it's because of free will.

Free will is what separates humans from angels, and which is why our devotion to God means so much more.

However, because of free will evil is also allowed to exist, and while this by itself is bad, it's something that HAS to exist in order to get humanity closer to God.
