Why are muslims in Sweden and i guess most other European countries so unfriendly towards presumtive converts? They peole in the mosques here generally act like they don't want the outside world to even know they exist at all, and definitely don't want any ethnic Swedes or people of any other background to try and join them.
I can only laugh when i read crap about some think Muslims are supposedly "trying to take over the country and force everyone to convert to Islam", when if anything most Muslim immigrants seem to think Swedish and all other people are unworthy of becoming muslims. What should one do, how could one become Muslim in such an unfriendly enviroment?

How many mosques have you seen this in? Is the mosque in question already limited to just one ethnicity or is it visited by Muslims from different backgrounds(even if they're all immigrants)? Every time I've seen converts announce their shahada I've seen people welcome them warmly so what you say seems odd.

Why don't you ask them? If that is the impression you get, then confront it! I certainly wouldn't let the brothers at my mosque be uninviting to converts.

I've been to several masjids here in Paris and I've never seen/felt something like this. In fact, I've seen people from all races and backgrounds in several masjids.
>most Muslim immigrants seem to think Swedish and all other people are unworthy of becoming muslims
That's a rather bold claim. What even made you think that people don't want others to revert? Do you have any proof or personal experience? Cause frankly, this just sounds weird. Dawah is a duty of all muslims. I don't see why anyone would want to stop people from reverting.
Masjids are places of worship. And they simply cannot let people walk around while everyone is praying. And some parts of the masjid are reserved for women only. But in general, if someone speaks to the authorities there beforehand, they'll more than likely propose a time when they can come and learn things/take a look at things.

Sometimes very "ethnic" mosques (as in, they consist mainly of one ethnic group) will have few English speakers (or speakers of your native language, e.g. swedish for OP). So, it might seem like they're unfriendly but they just don't know what to say to you because of language difficulties. That's been my experience so far as a new Muslim.

Maybe they should manage their own ☻hole countries before calling anyone else unworthy.

That was uncalled for, especially since there is literally zero evidence of what OP is claiming.

no joke, almost every day between maghrib and isha i sit with a group of old bengali men drinking chai tea and hardly any of them speak a word of english. they're very nice, but mostly converse among themselves. most of their attempts at conversation with me have not been successful, their english just isn't very good. alhamdulillah though, they're very hospitable especially knowing that im a convert

Weird, might just be a Swedish thing.
Here in the Netherlands Muslims are almost always very kind to me.

tribal mentality/nationalism, etc, this happens in muslim majority countries too. I have many turkish muslim friends who don't like to associate with malaysian/indonesian muslims and outright said they would never marry a malaysian/indonesian muslima.

Shame, from what I've heard from a few relatives that have visited Kuala Lampu its a great city with welcoming people, although they visited Istanbul as well and said something similar, maybe your friends don't represent the opinions of the majority of Turkish Muslims?

OP here. I don't know where most people here are from, and i don't know much about the situation in the rest of Europe, but there's some things you have to understand. Most mosque-goers in Sweden are not very religious, they see their mosques as a kind of safe space where they can meet their own and not have to bother with Swedes or any other non-muslims, and it's entirely a social thing to them rather than a religious thing.
Also there's a big problem that many Muslim immigrants, especially those who came recently - and those are a major percentage - can barely speak Swedish OR English, including the ones who run the mosques, making their communication with the outside world very limited and crude. I'd love to just sit down with someone who really knows and cares for muslim theology, to talk about what they really believe in, but right here there just doesn't seem to be any.

Because once in their life these Outsiders are actually not welcomed with open arms, but put under scrutiny and scepticism. It's western degeneracy that you have to always welcome anyone, who wants to join your team with a red carpet and OH NO, Drama, if you dare to even make the slightest demand on them proving themselves and adapting to you.
Most Swedes are degenerate. I don't know, but I can imagine that a lot of them think about converting just to feel some sense of identity, because they destroyed theirs through cultural marxism. Or a general attitude of "look at these diverse foreigners"

It's also un-Islamic. Didn't the Prophet (pbuh) say that no ethnic or racial group is superior to any other, and that it's only piety that matters? smh

why don't you just go to your local mosque and talk to the people there? I'm sure they will be friendly.
I also live in Sweden, by the way, and I don't recognize what you are saying as true.

I'm guessing you live in one of the biggest cities? Because here, and most other places, the mosques are completely ethnic, and you can hardly find anyone involved with them who can even speak Swedish. In fact, many of them seem to be run by Saudis who don't even live in Sweden.
I don't think there are any other ethnically Swedish muslims here, and very few outside of the biggest cities which are the only ones to do anything to invite converts, and they seem to be pretty despised by the local Muslims here.
