It's honestly very hard.

Btw, is this your way of helping other muslims? No, you are not obligated to help me of course. It's just interesting that you're taking it that easy.

OP: It's hard to be single

Anon: get married.

And problem solved or case closed. Don't you think it's much lesser realistic than a muslim should be? You didn't even ask me why I didn't get married and let me explain the reason. I don't want to lecture you as I'm probably more sinful and flawed than you. It's just a sincere and humble advice, be realistic and forgiving.

Alright, so explain your reason for not getting married when marriage is the cornerstone of Muslim life.

Since you won't be able to help me(except making dua) and I wasn't looking for help (to get married) I didn't explain the reason. I just wanted to start conversation and chat with some muslims because I have no muslim friends but sorry if it's supposed to be a serious place to do so.

I also agree that the thread lock was a bit harsh and unnecessary. If you wish to discuss personal matters, then do so. Just keep in mind that we're a very slow board.

I'm the vol who locked the thread. Not just because of what I'm about to say but firstly because we have other threads on this topic.

Now, as for what I'm about to say:

I like to think in a small way I have a "spidey sense" for detecting Christian trolls at this point. Some of the key tells for a Christian troll are as such:

1.) words like "works", "sin" especially when portrayed as some kind of intractable stumbling block or crisis. We have our own terms for these things in Islam and there is no crisis regarding them, everything is clear in the Quran.

2.) Turning molehills into mountains. Getting married is ridiculously easy for us, Alhamdulillah. Marriage is a contract between a man and a woman with the respective families involved - not a "sacrament" as the Christian call it. tfwnowife is not our meme, it can't be. The Prophet saws said marriage is half our deen. You can even checkout the matrimonial site halfourdeen.com

3.) Imagery and theme of pic relateds and pic titles that are meant to impart a defeatist nature to the muslims.

4.) The basic orthography and cadence of the sentences. Since the majority of our trolls come from /Christian/ and the hottest topic there is Islam we are familiar with their vernaculars and flows of speech

Now,

>>22101

>I have no muslim friends

This right here is a redflag. How are you muslim with apparently no muslim family and this statement of no muslim friends? This doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Muslims are either reverts that are pretty much adopted into local communities or they are from muslim families.

So what is the real problem here or was I right to lock the thread? What the hell is going on?

I also linked you to a good muslim marriage site: muslima.com. This is your parents responsibility to help you get married.

I agree that it's a bunch of red flags, but I'm a patient man and will listen. There are Muslims in the world who fall out of their communities. When I first moved out of Houston to a small town for work, there was no Muslim community to be found. I was alone for several months until I found a small online community and we began meeting together and raising the money to rent a small building. Had I not found that community I would have stayed alone the entire time I lived in that small, very Christian, town.

Until we hear OP's story, we should not make assumptions.

If you did think I'm a troll, I won't object it despite I'm not because once someone told me I have weird sentences. I don't know why I sound weird, maybe because of it's not my 1st language but there are many people on internet who speak English as 2nd language like me but not regarded as weird or troll. So it's very hard to convince you that I'm not troll while I still sound like troll?

>>22109

>>22110

Long story short, I live around people and have a family who claims to be muslim but don't practice and most of the people I asked if they read Qur'an said no. Even the ones who read Qur'an lack fundamental beliefs of Islam. Then again you'll call me troll because I'm a nonmuslim pretending to be hardline Islamist takfiring infallible Turks(some people think all Turks, Kurds, Arabs etc. are perfect muslims) to make Islam look bad. I came across that kind of people too.

I simply can't. Furthermore I'll have to move to one of the Aegean cost cities to study where zina and drinking widely accepted.

Do you have to go to school there? And can you take a gap year? Turkey has academies where you can memorize a large part of the Quran in a year.

>Do you have to go to school there?

Since Istanbul is too crowded to live in and expensive to study in I want to study in cheaper city and relatively prestigious university(In Turkey's standards) which isn't too far from home so Aegean cities are best choice for me.

>And can you take a gap year?

I can't. I have to study and get a job ASAP.

>Turkey has academies where you can memorize a large part of the Quran in a year.

I hope I'll study Islam systematically one day. Also you can watch this: https://youtu.be/1fIBoImJECU

If you're still in school the only feasible way to have a wife is if your parents stepped up and did the right thing by helping you acquire and house a wife. What else do you want us to say, brother?

Your obvious options are to have a sidejob or just finish studies and find a job quickly before marrying.

But there is another option. You could find an older sister that is established either by herself or her family. And you could marry her. She could be like your Khadija (ra).

I stated above that I just wanted to chat not interrogation. You'll say do this and do that and I'll say I can't because so then you'll say again do this and do that and then I'll say again I can't do it too because so and this will go like that. That's why I didn't want help from you in the first place.

Unfortunately, I live in the US and have very little knowledge outside of localized problems folks endure. Your situation sounds annoying, but I know you'll overcome. Stay strong in your faith and life will find a way.

As for the petty bickering, can we cut that out? It's annoying.
