NLP is real , it started out as a form of brief therapy. It was and is still very good for dealing with phobias and Trauma. Many of its inovations have been incorporated into other forms of therapy, marketing, personal development and motivation.
A big portion of NLP studies behavioral change and handling resitance, but like anything else it is not a magic wand were you wave it and criminals become non criminals, drunks non drunks
Still in studies on trauma it ranks high
It also works a lot with communication with unconscious mind which works well for our fetish here.
I would say it can enhance things, and there are some great NLP coaches and therapists, a while back NLP ventured into erotic hypnosis, and the fetish became big, like visulizing mind dolls, enhanced romantic novals, with NLP everything became more real
The Femdom Hypnosis kind of took over, and in the NLP field has a bad name, so many folks in the NLP stayed away, in NLP you are helping people, early Femdom Hypnosis was drainig folks bank accounts, hooked a lot of people who were mentally ill and got them to give all their money SSI to the Hypnodommes. Compliants were filed on the clients behalf, and in many professional associations on Hypnosis and NLP
The board of Mental health in some areas put out warnings for those treating people with mental illness that bad hypnotist and NLP folks were targeting the mentally ill with new forms of addioctions and money scams
This really drove some great NLPers away.
