I would presume they have a particular affinity for music performed by somebody with a magnetic stage presence and a flair for showmanship like Prince or Eric Johnson, whom they see as objects of desire, and Madonna or Paula Abdul, whom they see as role models they want to emulate.

He is amazing.
But he looked creepy as white. I prefer him black.
You are gonna be my baby no matter if you are black or white doesn't apply. He looked like a creepy doll.

But Michael Jackson dindu nuffin. He had vitiligo, which destroyed almost all of his black pigments. He was very insecure about that and this is why he covered the white spots with makeup when he was more black than white in his concerts and other public events.

He did nothing wrong, yeah. And it was a shame.
But I still lament it, as he totally became less handsome.
His sick moves, yet somewht average looks are what made him shine in my book. And his music too, but I am talking about him in scene.

Yee, and he made breakdancing quite popular with the robot and creating the moonwalk. His voice was also something else, he could hit high notes which are almost impossible for men in general, plus the mix of screaming and a high voice was something really unique. God, I miss him. He had to suffer so much in his last years, especiall for all these bullshit child molester/pedophile accusations and Sony doing everything they could to fuck him over.

It's like saying you like Queen. We all do because they're damn good and some of the most well known musicians ever.

Sadly they won. I honestly believe he got kileld.
This is one of my favourite Michael jackson songs. From the glory days. It even has Makulky Kulki, what more could you ask for?!

Sure about that? These days I hear no one talking about Michael Jackson (except for me) nor do I see his albums in stores. I mean, Prince and Madonna are very obvious choices too but they were mentioned anyways.

It's either Sony who killed him in order to obtain his Beatles and Elvis Presly catalogues or it were outright the Jews who ordered his assassination.
His Dangerous album is superb, there are a good handful of songs that experimented with Rock, Hip Hop and prototypes of Electronica. Keep It in the Closet is one of his very lewd songs from this album and I like it a lot.

Hm. Honestly? Probably not.
I don't listen to public radio, nor do I really listen to what I'd even call "real" music, half the time. So even my recs on youtube and soundcloud are like, artists going by weird esoteric names.
I doubt anyone I'd talk to IRL would be able to sperg with me over マクロスMACROSS 82-99, you know?
So I'm probably just projecting, since I have a deep appreciation for MJ's music, and showmanship.
Seriously, everything from the songs, to the set design, to his dancing, it all comes together like nothing else.

Two years ago I said the same thing, I only listen to male artists, but then I took the ecstacy pill and fell in love with 80s music so hard I was finally exposed to ones that were enjoyable.

I've been into a lot of goth music lately, classic post-punk stuff. I have way too much music, really, and I kinda move in and out of phases of what I want to hear. Yesterday, though, I just wanted to keep listening to twangy, melodramatic stuff all day and just write depressing poetry in a graveyard or something.

That's a silly flag. Though, there is a minor mistake in that it's titled "Default Flag"
Unless it's a meta joke on the default disposition being enraged shrieking. Sounds like old /fem/ rather than our /girltalk/ heh
Witcher has some good music. Nice one.
Here's something from Red Vox, a song called In The Garden. I heard it a long time ago, it's how I found the band. I think it's pretty good. Also the title reminds me of a really old trance song called The Garden.

I just didn't like how the default flag was "male" , so to speak.
I thought about what flag could be the "normal" flag, and I jumped from normal, to normie, to " get out of my board reeee".
It's a joke anyway, just a way to tell new people apart.
Btw, do you like foreign music?

I actually liked male being default. In another board I like, there's a general "lurk moar" mentality that is fairly classic on chan culture, and male being default fits in with people not understanding the functions of the board yet, and they should learn to pay attention.
But that's not a big deal. The places I come from are exceptionally hostile to outsiders. There's no need for this place to adopt all their behaviors.
>Foreign music
A bit vague and general. I like some, especially Scandinavian and Mongolian.
Attached is Krigsgaldr, by Heilung
I like the dark atmospheric kind of music. I have a pretty varied taste though, I also like certain kinds of bubble pop, but foreign stuff I know of is usually hard rock, metal, or dark ambient.
That one you've shared is nice, however.

Anyway I don't like admitting that I mostly listen to music of this kind. It's what I write my craziest fantasies to (nothing sexual).

Oh, dubstep, I wouldn't have thought. Not precisely the same, but I do like a number of related tech/electric genres. I tend to prefer songs with lyrics rather than wordless music, but I enjoyed several Perturbator songs that found their way on my auto-generated YouTube Music mix tape. My favorite artist in the whole world also does synth rock. She is called Alice Glass.
Alice Glass is the former singer of Crystal Castles, but I think she is much better solo. Her songs are beautifully powerful expressions of heavy emotions and experiences. The song of hers that resonates with me the most intensely is CEASE AND DESIST, but I'll link White Lies here since it's the first of hers I found.
If you decide to explore her work, I suggest avvoiding anything that says remix on it. Every song of hers has like 5 different remixes by various other artists. Interesting in its prominence, but I prefer her original versions.

Ehh, not quite. That genre of music tends to aim at a more disorderly display of digital noises, so the music I've found to enjoy as writing background decided to name itself different things.
It ranges from trap, to big room, to generic -synth. If I had to define it all, I'd say "workout music", which for some reason ended up matching my pace of writing.
Nonetheless, I never found anybody who liked my same kind of music without finding it either generic, too weird, boring, or confusing. Fine by me, to be honest. It gives me hope my "inspired" writing style has a chance at being unique.

Not particularly fond of lyrics in music, myself, so that song is no exception. Voices are overrated, overused, and thoroughly explored. And although you could argue the message is the important part, I disagree. By giving the song lyrics you're stripping the audience from the chance to interpret the media themselves. However, I might just have shit taste, that's also possible.

On the topic of books and media, I would recommend the art of Jacques Fabien Gautier D'agoty, one of France's best Renaissance anatomists.
His style has a sculptural, and to me sensual, quality to it that is almost inimitable.
In terms of music go with Saltillo. Dark yet poetic. Something that would not be out of place in a Silent Hill game.
