What do you think about all the virtue signalling and people falling over themselves to label someone who points out basic biological differences as a sexist?

Here's a tl;dr:
Google employee writes an internal memo talking about internal biases which lead to positive discrimination. He brings up documented science and therefore he's obviously a sexist/nazi/woman beater according to virtue signalling progressives. He was fired for the above.
There's also a response basically agreeing with him from several scientists within various related fields:

More within the purview of political discussion but I wanted to hear some thoughts. No judgement.

I agree: the typical US west coast outrage culture fueled by dishonest media who misrepresent what the document talks about. Also, a lot of Twitter keyboard warriors who didn't read the thing at all, basically making a big fuss about it.
But seriously, biological differences exist. Boys have a pee pee and girls have a vagina. Not really surprising, what is surprising is the lengths "liberals" will go to deny something as basic as personality differences. The document isn't calling women stupid, nor is it saying that they can't do certain intellectual tasks. It's more talking about biological preferences that can and do manifest themselves, in general. But he also talks about individuals: and that's the important point. It's not "all women are like this" but "women are biologically predisposed to these personality types or career preferences." I'm not sure what's so controversial about this beyond outrage culture but I might just be autistic.

I've read it in full and it's a fairly moderate, centrist read.
One of the big points he made was that google was fairly closed-minded politically and that they only allow their employees to believe left-leaning things and right-leaning thoughts are very heavily discouraged, which makes google a very bad work environment for anyone who isn't left-leaning. Given the response to the paper and Google firing him (for a MODERATE take, mind you), he hit the nail on the head there that's for goddamn sure.
He also made claims that men and women, on average, think differently and have different interests, however given the wide spectrum that humans are on he states clearly that you should never base an individual on averages, just that those averages might help to explain gender gaps in some occupations.
That point somehow got mangled into people claiming he said women "weren't biologically fit for tech" which he never said anything even remotely close to in the entire paper.
All in all it was a shitshow.
