All the platonic male friends I've had in my life just treated me like anyone else, at least from my perspective they did. We shared interests and maybe even a workplace, but mostly we enjoyed each other's company without expectations or pressure. There's a lot of guys that I consider to be like brothers and I'm grateful to have/have had them in my life. People who say men and women can't just be friends just aren't capable of it (for whatever reason) imo. Most likely a lack of self control.
