Damn son that's a good idea. I think I will. Right now I'm more concerned about material than shape though. Its got to feel good to the skin. Definitely want to incorporate electronics later on.

I don't want it to be an ordeal to be counted down to and done with. I prefer cuffs that would release upon completing a task (ie, applying pressure to a rubber rod with your mouth so many times). The feeling of earning your freedom is incomparable.

What's the advantage of time-release?

Hey, some of us like ordeals with nothing to do but wait, powerless to influence it in any way…

From a practical standpoint, time release is simpler, which is a twofold advantage – a wider variety of positions that can be used, and much easier and cheaper to make.

On the other hand, if cost and complexity aren't an obstacle, maybe the best approach would be something modular and/or programmable. Like a base unit that's just the handcuffs, the mechanism that opens/closes them (with failsafes), and a basic battery-powered SOAC with ports for peripherals, like receivers for sensors, a bluetooth receiver (maybe with an accompanying app?), a timer, etc.

Programmable models would be something on the pricier end. They're also a lot more complicated and I don't know electronics yet. They'll definitely happen when I get employees. I really like this ports idea of yours. The customer could build a set like a lego kit. Batteries n Bluetooth is smart, nothing kills the mood like getting tangled in a wire. I ran out of batteries yesterday, I think chargeable is the future. For our earlier models, I think time-release can be arranged. If only just for you.

I want these to be special toys, more for ~mindbreaking~ training subs than simply deriving pleasure from.
