There was this guy I knew on the football team. He was a captain, tall, handsome face- you know. He was pretty funny too, then he went to a shitty college and starting selling acid for a living. Eventually he dropped out, rumor was he was on the run from money lenders. He came back to our home town and started dating a high school girl and knocked her up (I think).

Kek I prefer to use the imperial system because it triggers many cucks.
Metric system is only good for big stuff like measuring shit in space, imperial was designed to be relative to body proportions, which makes it practical in every day use.
So let me ask again, how big is 1.80cuckunits in the chad imperial system?

Really makes you think. Metricucks btfo'd again. Don't get me wrong metric is good for working with really small or really large things since the units scale, but imperial is just more practical to use in every day life.

There was this guy in my elementary school that all girls were into.
He would always tease my friend for having big teeth and was just an asshole in general.
Now he is 21 and has a baby face, doesn't look a day older than 14.
Oh how the tables have turned, feels good.
There was also this guy I had a crush on for a while. Shy, somewhat chubby tech guy.
The last time I saw him in real life he was still that slightly awkward guy.
I stalked his fb 5 minutes ago because this tread reminded me of him, he changed as well.
He seems to have life working out for him, he is more buff and seems to have a lot of friends.

Just as worse tbh. And I would hate it if the world all thought the same, especially if they phased out a historic unit of measurement just because 'everyone's doing it'. I used to think about someone like this. Discovered it was because I didn't know them well enough. Basically, I didn't know them at all. That may not apply in your situation of course, but it sounds like your infatuation may have clouded your perception of him.

Maybe he didn't feel that he was good enough for you or was scared about the prospect of a relationship. He probably had personal faults that you hadn't uncovered and he didn't want to reveal them to you. Maybe he regrets leaving but felt he had to?

>have a huge crush on the chaddest guy you ever did see
>I mean, this guy was the Chad of Chads. Blonde hair, blue eyes, /fit/ af, and a bright, pearly white smile. He was the captain of the baseball team, president of the student council, and generally an all around popular guy. He wasn't a complete asshole about it either, and was always nice to everyone who passed him by, even if it was the mentally retarded kid in the wheelchair. Everyone loved him, and he loved everyone back. All in all, he was the stereotypical All-American alpha male.
>Then there's me
>The creepy, landwhale, loner neet chick who smelled like cat piss and wore hoodies and sweatpants 24/7, 365 days a year. I ate lunches in the bathroom, lurked in the shadowy corners of the school, and hung out by the dumpster, not for fear of bullies, but simply because I hated other people, and nobody in their right mind went there except for me. All in all, I was the one that everyone pegged as the school's resident edgelord hermit at best, and future school shooter at worst.
>Due to this, I barely noticed him, and he barely noticed me. We lived completely different lives.
>That was, until I was fucked over on a Tuesday.
>It all started in math class, you see. As our last names were close together, we were placed in a group. At first, I was indifferent. After all, it was just a group project, and usually I ended up being the one doing all the work while everyone else fucked off. I didn't mind this, as usually whenever they tried to "help" they screwed things up so badly that I had to redo everything anyways.
>However, that wasn't the case with the Chad of Chads. In fact, he knew a fair bit more than I did, so we got to finish in record time, and I learned a lot from him while we worked. Since everyone else was still working, we started talking a little. I was being my usual autistic, socially awkward self, but he just talked to me as if we knew each other since forever. Granted, the reason this Chad of Chads deigned to speak to me was most likely because there was no one else to talk to, but all the same, I was warming to him. Eventually he got me to the point where I was actually giggling at one of his jokes.
>I never giggle. Laugh, sure, but giggle? Not on your life. Even worse, I was blushing redder than a fire hydrant.
Naturally I was mortified. What the hell was this? What sorcery was this Chad of Chads casting upon me?
>Before I could say anything more, the bell rang, and he left with his gaggle of friends.
>That's how it started. Of course, the group project was an ongoing thing, so we had to keep on working together in math. Sure enough, what was once my most boring class, soon became the highlight of my day. Again, as we usually finished our work early, we had time enough to simply talk to each other, and during this time I got to know a lot about him. I knew that his favorite color was green, that he went shooting in the desert with his dad in the winter, that he had a huge baseball card collection, and that he liked a lot of the same weeb shit that I did like Serial Experiments Lain, Spice and Wolf, etc, and that his favorite constellation was Ophiuchus.
>It was impossible not to like him, and so, gradually I fell in love with the guy.
>This was bad. I knew I had no chance. As I said before, the only reason he talked to me was because the teacher sat us together. He would never, not in a million years, go for me, the 3/10 stinky landwhale. Besides, he already had an 8/10 Stacy girlfriend, and I didn't want to mess with that. She was a nice gal, too. A perfect match for the Chad of Chads.
>Thus, it was obvious that this tentative friendship I had with him wasn't going to last.

Part of the reason was due to my stupid ass spaghetti spilling out of my pockets whenever I saw him, the other part was that he was simply too plain busy to hang around with me, even for a few minutes.
>However, even as we drifted apart, I loved him.

Perhaps just focus on other guys and know that crushes are so intense because you don't actually know the person you're crushing over and your brain fills the blanks with perfections you wish for. Especially since memories tend to fade over time it becomes more and more nothing but a creation from your brain. Perhaps this helps that it's just how fantasy love that's better than real love.

First and only real boyfriend I ever had. Had my first kiss with him last year and we met because of 8chan. He was very tall and lanky and had a speech impediment. He would make the funniest jokes.
It didn't last though, but that's life

Eh, all kinds of stuff. There was a tiny group of us that got together in the vidya thread and played some heavily modded Minecraft, Monster Hunter, Payday 2, 7D2D, ESO… just to name a few.
Also, on /v/ there's usually some group stuff planned on the weekends like Diablo 2 multiplayer or Minecraft thats open to anyone who wants to play.
