Hello /g/, hope you are doing well. i know you're not personal tech support

Since i've been in quarentine for a couple of weeks, i started organizing all the files i had in cd's and external devices from a long time.

I found really good stuff i forgot i had, and i want to keep. Some of them are in 7z files, and i can't find the passwords, i remember copy pasting from the website directly and then after a while i deleted the files from my computer and forgot to save the passwords.

I tried cracker software using brute force, but it can take months since some of the passwords might be complicated.

Do you know any way i can get the files without the password?

Did someone else make the passwords or you? If you, you could create custom cracking sets based on how you may have made it to solve the password if it isn't random characters.

Otherwise, you can try and find where you downloaded it from, archive.org if necessary, to find the password.

I copy pasted the passwords from the websites, and they are usually long and complex, so brute forcing is out.

I may be able to fin dome of them, the ones i remember at least
