This might be of genuine interest/value to some of you
Basically SWIM downloaded a PDF from a questionable source. Unbeknownst to SWIM, it contained some didactic information regarding some very nefarious activity to a Tails live usb drive. When SWIM it ran normally without suspicion, but SWIM had his doubts and scanned it with ClamAV, then ran RKHunter- everything checked out. SWIM then gave it to a buddy of his to read, but when SWIM's buddy opened the folder on OSX it appeared as an executable, and ran it anyway; the shell displayed a few error messages then "saving history, ending session. Also when SWIM had it opened on Ubuntu, his PC randomly cut daemon snapper and froze, but SWIM was doing a number of other things at the time and qdfreader was only running in the background. SWIM was hoping somebody could take a look at it, and let me know if it is a honeypot or worm or something. It contains some valuable information that some people would be likely to pay for.
