more and more people getting banned on youtube and it's annoying to follow them to other sites, an app with a similar interface to youtube where you can make a profile and link mirrors would be nice.
Like the streaming sites before netflix, where you are able to rate and comment.
you wouldn't need a big server because it would only link to the video.
Atm there are alternatives for uploading videos and alternatives for uploading streams. just make sure people get notified from booth and i am sure you will have enough people that would like to use it.

Somewhat related; a service that can join media streams from different websites in real time. For instance, a user could upload a video to youtube with no sound and then upload the sound file to google drive, dropbox, torrent, etc.
This would let you bypass youtube copyright bullshit and shitty audio compression.
Even better would be combining video streams, allowing people to overlay images and videos on top of each other.
I think most of this is already possible with mpv and youtube-dl, but the main idea is to make this process easier. If content creators were aware and able to use this it would be so much more useful to everyone.
