I guess no. I know a few colorblind people and I’m passingly familiar with how people cope with it. There’s also no “white/nearly white” colorblindness. Those two colors differ in value which even a totally colorblind person could tell apart.

Also ratcha works digital and photoshop/sai/gimp show you the rgb density under the pointer. A colorblind person would probably also use layers and filters to better see the contrasts they’re insensitive to.

What I think is going on here is it’s a laptop or a shitty cintiq ripoff that has such bad off axis performance that they are barely able to see the colors they’re working with. Also I’m pretty sure ratcha streams with music playing and while chatting with fans, a very distracting environment.

lots of furry artists down own true 100% adobe RGB monitors which is something someone of her professional caliber would use.

Well the real thing is expensive, and most consumers don’t appreciate the difference in quality. Plus, before calibrated displays, artists had ways to cope with color calibration. I mean, back in the Disney glory days they’d mix a whole scene’s worth of colors so they didn’t have to match hues frame to frame.

Theres often tiny little mistakes in graphic art, and Ratcha kinda does crank em out. I’m not saying it like it’s a flaw or a quality defect.
