Don't you think it's a bit silly to be up in arms about a game that you not only haven't played but know almost nothing about? In my opinion it has a really interesting little story going on. It's part porn, part character study, part mystery. Half the fun is trying to construct the backstory from the little bits you learn as you go on. But if you don't put a lot into it then you won't get a lot out of it, like anything.

Just watch a Let's Play instead of playing it yourself. It's easier.

Can someone spoil me the whole story? I had the same issue as OP of not wanting to sit through stuff that disgusts me, so I used the cheat code to see the endings and some other stuff, but I feel like I didn't go deep enough in the story to connect the pieces I had to the endings.

Already read articles and watched plays; I've never been to prison but I know it isn't fun. The dev himself said that he imported several art pieces from furfags and used their stories they wrote, so again, bad deviantart-tier fiction. It's not original content, this is half the "game." Imagine if I made a visual novel where I just took some excerpts from e-books from classical literature and posted images I found off google, then packaged it with some background story. I'd have a better time just reading the books themselves.

You're not really selling me on this here. There has to be an underlying reason or cause to make it worthwhile, and actually worth playing. If I tried to make a movie and told people "you should watch this movie because its in english and you can understand it" not many people would come, being the bare minimum is not enough to make something "good." it might appeal to you, but maybe your taste is just shit. Furthermore, visual novels are just choose your own adventure books in digital format, so I don't consider them to be games, just interactive stories. I don't consider it gameplay.
