yes there are, don't have the links to hand but some of them have tweeted about it. They also hired a DA user iirc, though they didn't use their redesigns.

that's not a good thing or a bad thing, furries are everywhere. at this stage you'd have to specifically try to avoid hiring furries. i'm not pushing some kind of "yay, acceptance!" narrative, let alone a "this is a really talented fandom!!!" one.

your mistake is imagining these things are decided culturally or based on some sort of human essence and not decided entirely economically. all of those things exist because of the economic incentive structure in the fandom. Popufurs buy popularity, hacks sell it. People are not at their most discerning when horny. Even if you're a talented artist, why would you put in more effort when you have to when popufurs wouldn't know good art from bad if they were forced to print it out on toilet paper and eat it?
