hi /fit/, i'm an american powerlifter currently competing in vietnam. It's been really tough, vietnamese men are not to be messed with!

their naturally short stature and short limbs give them mechanical advantages. if they are short all around guess what else is short :)

anyways after my powerlifting competition i will be doing bodybuilding in saudi arabia.

this is me at my pre- bodybuilding stage,

I will update this thread in a couple of months to showcase my progress so far.

have any footage of the meets?

 No.125610

have you fucked a vietnamese girl?

it's that true that they are all 8-9/10?

 No.125618

In what way would shorter limbs give you an mechanical advantage when in 99% of lifts the weights are moved in the vertical while paralel to your motion? Thats not how torque fucking works.

Are you doing lateral raises in a powerlifting compaetetion? Fuck no. Stop using bullshit as excuses you weak fucker.

It's less distance to move the weights, retard.

How that has any MECHANICAL impact? You are a goddamn moron.

It has to do with momentum and distance to lift.

A tall guy has to lift the weights a lot further on a deadlift than a manlet. There's a guy at my work who DLs 4pl8 but he's only 5'8".

 No.125657

>>125653

That has nothing to do with momentum. The only thing a taller guy has to do more, is use more energy, but they also have more cells to produce that energy. Im certain some biology dude can confirm that your higher output of energy compensates whatever extra energy you have to use in that milisecond you have to lift the bar a centimetre more.

Those manlets are simply stronger than you. All this manlet vs lanket bullshit comes only from the fact that manlets look fuller with less mass and there is only so much mass your body can put on at a time.

So how do you explain away different weight classes in boxing/wrestling, and why horse jockeys need to be tiny, faggot?

 No.125659

>>125642

It's not about the mechanics, it's pure and simple kinematics. It takes more to move a given weight further.

>>125657

I am a biology dude and I'm not denying anything you said. The things you mentioned matter ans have an impact, but that does not change the fact that my brother has to bench a weight several inches higher than me due to his longer arms. And a stout little barrel man doesn't have to lift the bar as high as either of us. Being taller allows for more muscle mass, but it's still more work and when you get to record-setting weights, every inch counts.

Are you cereal? I actually laughed out loud at how stupid this question was
