Good day, dear /fit/.

I would like to share knowledge in areas that might be interesting to others, so their not making the same mistakes and / or bad experiences as I do. I apologize very much for this text and my bad English skills. I have full understanding if someone does not want to read this long message.

I think that this topic might be interesting for a few people, since physical beauty is for many a sign of health.

[Story]

It began with the fact that during my childhood and youth I was mainly fed on cereal and sugary foods. I have not paid attention to myself. The consequences / deformations were rapid, such as crooked teeth & nose, caries, teeth pulling, overbite, an asymmetrical, narrow and long face shape and amalgam fillings. It was anything but attractive or beautiful, but at that time it did not bother me.

Some years later, women became interesting and I realized that with this look, it was very hard to get to know the other sex. So I decided to take better care of myself. This included a fixed brace, surgeries, several visits to the orthodontist and various doctors, dietary changes, sports activities, change of clothes style, avoiding pornographic material, drug consumption and much more.

In the adult age I was told by my orthodontist that my narrow jaw and overbite must be corrected surgically. There is no other possibility, since the bones are solid. In the hospital I got a device to the palate (rapid maxillary expansion appliance). This had to be turned every day so that the jaw could be broadened bit by bit. After about a year I had to go to the hospital again to correct my overbite.

Very often, I hear from other people that genetics plays an important role. Whether it is hair loss, crooked teeth, an unattractive face or other "diseases". I am not a doctor, but because of my own experiences, friends, relatives and acquaintances, I believe that we can influence our genetics with the right diet and physical exercise either positively, or negatively.

I came to this realization when I discovered the works of a man named Weston Andrew Valleau Price. When I understood everything correctly, he was a dentist and nutritionist who was looking for factors that required good health and was lacking in the modern world - he found them mainly in food.

Especially in the food of different peoples living in solitude from modern civilization, he found that these had little to no decay / caries and also no degeneration of the body. He also noted that a "deformed body" can be created by a mainly sugary and cereal diet (especially in growth).

People who, on the other hand, have fed a healthy diet from birth, rarely had to deal with the problems mentioned above. A healthy and balanced diet has been defined as: animal intestines, healthy fats (coconut oil, red palm oil, ghee), raw milk (cheese), bone broth, cod liver oil, algae (spirulina, chlorella), various fish and much more.

In addition, this should be avoided:

- fluoridated water & toothpaste

- artificial sweeteners

- Dental filling consisting of amalgam

- Caffeine

- Phytic acid

- Gluten

- Oxalates

- Lectins

- genetically modified food

- Soy

- refined sugar

- wheat and grains

With this contribution I would like to inquire whether you see it as much as I do, or have a completely different opinion on the subject. I would be very happy about helpful, interesting and informative answers.

To the end of this message I would like to mention the following: I do *not* see myself as knowledgeable, intelligent, skilled or clever - quite the opposite. I am neither a doctor, nor have I studied at a university for several years. Please take everything I write with a grain of salt, as this is based on pure experience on my part.

I wish you, your family and friends all the best, much health and happiness. God bless.

Namasté.

A few months ago, I have happily encountered an honorary man with the Internet pseudonym "viriculture", who has created a thread on a forum how to become physically beautiful. He has made all his knowledge available to everyone free of charge. I would like to share these and other websites, so that you can form your own opinion about it. Maybe there is information that is interesting, helpful and informative for you. This section is from the gentleman named "viriculture":

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

I love you all and want to give you something special - the knowledge to how to be physically beautiful. This is not a metaphor, but rather literally true.

Some bodies are ugly no matter how much gym time we put in, and facial beauty seems to be completely outside of our control.

However, in reality both body and facial beauty and 1) controllable 2) primarily mediated by environmental, not genetic, factors. What this means in practical terms is that we can control the physical beauty outcomes for children - indeed we control whether they look like models of like monsters.

Ugliness is in large part a chronic bone disease of stunted growth, that is why it is repulsive, it is a disease.

All of you (barring some deforming genetic disease), even the ugliest, can have beautiful, godlike children - you just have to follow certain lifestyle practices before, during, and after the gestation of the child. Ironically, these lifestyle factors are in almost direct contrast to the conventional """wisdom""" of modernity. For interesting political reasons, the relevant academic disciplines which would have lead doctors and the public to this critical knowledge have been censored in the last 75 years.

The modern world is full of ugly people, but this is not genetic, it is Nature's revenge for our disharmonious lifestyles. In a single generation we could, simply using environmental factors, make essentially every adult beautiful.

I thank you very much for your question and please apologize my belated response.

According to the information from different orthodontists and doctors in the hospital, it is much easier as a child and adolescent to correct the jaw without surgery since the bones are not yet firm. In my case it was unfortunately too late, because I was 21 - 22 years old at that time.

Overall, there were two surgeries. The first was a rapid maxillary expansion appliance, because my jaw was too narrow and the doctors had to make it wider. After that, I had to wait a year for the main overbite correction. All the risks and dangers of surgery were discussed with a doctor. These included rebleeding, numbness, swelling, wound infections, nerve damage and dysesthesia.

Fortunately, there were no problems during and after the surgeries, except for a few weeks a swollen face and numbness. After the surgery of the lower jaw, I had to insert elastic bands for several weeks to correct small things and to stabilize the jaw. Admittedly, it is a bit annoying at the beginning, but after a certain time you get used to it.

In the first few weeks you can or should not eat anything solid, but rather soup and soft food. For example, I have often boiled potatoes and sweet potatoes, crushed them to a mash, seasoned with spices, and scrambled eggs or / and fish.

Chewing is very difficult at first and hurts. When I was discharged from the hospital, I ate a lot of fruit and similar foods (various berries, dates, figs, coconut milk, cocoa nibs, bee pollen, manuka honey, mangoes, apricots, bananas, tangerines, kiwi, plums and much more). Whether fresh, dried or frozen and vegetables (beetroots, celery, fennel, ginger, carrots, broccoli).

Many different fruits in the blender and hours later a juice of vegetables (the oxalate content is well known to me during this process) in all colors. I preferred thick liquid smoothies because I could eat them slowly with a spoon and it was a meal replacement for me.

Please do not hesitate, if you or someone else have a few questions. I'm looking forward to reading from you.

FYI

isn't this basically the same subject as docter Mew (or mewing)

the short story:

get good teeth and better aesthetics simply by eating better food, and not just "good food", but harder to exercise your jaws

stop being a mouth breather, keep your mouth close and tongue pressing against mouth ceiling

he advocates against using prothesis and surgery to fix your orthopedics, basically saying you fix up the consequence without finding the source of the problem

he draws source source of study from somewhat the same thing

natives from places with a more natural diet have perfect teeth, but instead he correlates with how hard the food is, not the nutrient factor on itself

I can understand your question very well.

With this contribution, I would like to mention that I am only a relatively young person, who is not omniscient and makes mistakes. Also I can be misinformed. When I started this thread and wrote my first post, it was not my goal to leave an impression of me, which indicates that I found the truth about the optimal diet for us humans and everyone who says something different is wrong. If I had aroused such an impression, I apologize.

Personally, the knowledge of men like Weston A. Price, Dr. Axe, Dr. Mike Mew and Ramiel Nagel has helped in my life. For other people, this information may be false and foolish.

The meaning of this thread is for me to inform others about this topic so they do not make the same mistakes as I do. It's really good that we do not all share the same opinion. Many are aware that there is a lot of misinformation on the Internet. For this reason, everyone should do their own research before believing anything.

My conclusion: There are studies, doctors and articles that speak for, or against fluorides, genetically modified food, amalgam fillings, artificial sweeteners, caffeine, vaccines, antinutrients (phytic acid, gluten, tannins, oxalates, lectins, saponins, trypsin inhibitors, isoflavones, solanine, chaconine), soy, wheat and much more. Everyone should decide for themselves who they believe. I do not want anyone to forgo certain foods. For example, if someone likes to eat a lot of wheat flour or refined sugar, feel good and have no problems, everything is okay. Everyone should live the way he or she wants it.

>>124203

Thank you. I've mainly heard of Dr. Mike Mew and watched some videos on YouTube from him. In my opinion, he is definitely informed about this whole topic and knows what he is talking about. Nevertheless, I believe that the food comes first and that is how we can develop (especially in childhood and youth) from the appearance. Of course breathing through the mouth also plays a big role and should be avoided. As an adult, corrections to the face and / or body are more difficult since the bone structure is firm. On various Internet forums you will find contributions from the so-called "mewing". This section has been copied to explain what it is:

mewing = tong of the roof of the mouth, lips together and breathing trough nose, also chewing hard gums and other exercises…basically a myofunctional theraphy. mewing is one of the attempts to enhance one's facial structure. Idea is to cause bone remodelling in adult, moving maxilla up and forward, augmenting zygomatic bones and rotating mandibula. This yields more attractive face. They accomplished this in kids, while their bones are still growing, but there is some anecdotial success recorded in adults as well.

Mewing is not a meme, shit actually works. went to a dentist and he said my teeth and general mouth area are straighter and better than ever recently. Its essentially the correct oral posture leading to maxilla growth and widening of the palate (roof of your mouth). Maxilla is essential in facial beauty as it holds the majority offcial features upwards, a recessed maxilla will ruin your life.

Bone is fairly malleable more so than most people accept and so can change shape, evidence of this is children in puberty and the fact we see mouth breathers slowly get weaker and weaker jawlines due to lack of support from the tongue. basically if your ugly a lot if it is your fault for having shit posture and not providing the support your face needs leading to terrible development during puberty obviously though bone structure isnt everything and for best resultsyou should have done this when you were at least 15

Thank you for sharing your age and story with us.

I'm sorry to hear that your brace has been taken off prematurely. Have you thought about changing an orthodontist, if you still have problems with tooth deficiencies (e.g., oblique teeth)?

Do you have deformations on the face and / or body if I may ask? If so, which ones would you like to have corrected?

I sincerely wish you a speedy and good recovery from your surgery. Hope you have no problems.

To be honest, my information is not sufficient enough to answer your question. I have been dealing with the last months and years more with jaw surgeries, less with "mewing".

It would be wrong to give you advice because I am not qualified and have not enough experience in this field. I just want to draw attention to the fact that there are doctors in different areas, all of whom are concerned with correcting deformations of the human body. For this reason, I add videos, pictures and links to the attachment from time to time. Maybe there are people who are interested in learning new things. I hope you understand my point of view.

I would recommend contacting Dr. Mike Mew and his team via e-mail or Facebook. They are specialized in such areas and can help you further.

In addition, food supplements have in many cases no positive effect on our health. I'm sorry you had to wait so long for an answer.

Also, I have searched for evidence that the so-called "mewing" can positively influence certain facial muscles. I must admit that I still can not prove that it works. The opinion about this "method" is divided. Some people are convinced. For others, this is nothing more than absolute nonsense without an effect. But no matter whether it works or not, "falim gums" in my opinion are worth a try.

Unfortunately I do not know any before-pictures. If I find some on the Internet, I'll let you know if you want.

I'm not that skeptical about the possibility of a noticeable mastication muscles hypertrophy anymore. There are people with bruxism actually paying money for the botox injections so their trained muscles would get smaller. Also chewing will not only make your masseter bigger but the temporal muscle will get bigger as well, so both bottom and top of your head can become wider. Gotta chew the shit out of this mastic gum for 10/10 face.

Thanks for posting it in such a thoughtful way, let's bump and keep this discussion rolling.

Dr. Mew is very iffy, though. Not much stuff to back his methods up.

Thanks for this information. I was not aware that people with bruxism pay money for botox injections to get their trained muscles smaller.

Excuse me, but I do not sell anything.

My goal is to use this thread to provide other people with free information, which helped me personally (a young man with various "facial deformities"-crooked teeth & nose, caries, teeth pulling, overbite, an asymmetrical, narrow and long face shape and amalgam fillings). This website was for me the appropriate "chan", as much is discussed about appearance and health. These are the two areas that interest me most, and I want to continue developing to help others.

Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate your contribution. It makes me happy to read that I could help others with this thread, even if it is only one person.

[Wheat and grains]

I would like to copy a text section from a person with whom I talked about this topic last year. I can not express it better.

Wheat and grains in general are and have been a staple to the human population for ages. The problem with them stems from industrialization. Refining grains to the point that nutrients have to be added back just to prevent the masses from dying is a terrible idea (See Enriched Flour). This basically makes it little better than refined sugar (Though it does have protein).

Another major aspect is that almost every single crop of wheat in North America is treated with an herbicide, glyphosate (Roundup) just before harvesting. This is done before harvest because when you kill wheat, it forces the plant to put it's energy in to the seeds, increasing their size. This leads to higher output yields from the same size fields that are left untreated. The actual effects of this are not well documented but are suspected to be the leading cause of what people think is "gluten intolerance" in north america.

Our ancestors weren't eating the grains the majority of people are eating today.

You do realize you're talking to a guy btw who works for a baker and whose diet is like 50%+ bread right? I eat sourdough rye bread, kimwa, and so on… but not wheat and not soy… and I have no problems.

Enriched white flour isn't the same as other flours/grains.

…and as for the specific post you're responding to, it would be because, not everyone has been exposed to sufficient levels of toxins to develop these problems.

Btw, I've had people say they are gluten-intolerant, hundreds of people in fact, and they come and eat the bread I sell… and they have no issues at all. Our bread is so called "gluten-free". In actual fact it's not really, but it's organic, there's no fucking pesticides, no stripping of nutrients, etc. and it's not wheat. So people that ordinarily would have "gluten" issues don't with our bread.

[Dr. Mike Mew]

I can well understand why for many Dr. Mike Mew is iffy. Nevertheless, I believe that he is concerned with this subject and knows to a large extent what he is talking about. Some people are convinced of his "methods" and make great success according to their contributions on the Internet. For others, however, they do not work at all. I believe that the food comes first and that is how we can develop (especially in childhood and youth) from the appearance. Of course breathing through the mouth also plays a big role and should be avoided. Besides, we should not forget to eat solid food. I prefer and recommend dry meat, but you can also use falim gum to train your jaw muscles (if it works for you).

I'm sorry to answer you so late. I hope you will see and read my message.

Well, first of all, a little story, if you allow.

I had a fixed brace for more than 7 years and in some places my teeth were still crooked. In this long time I had arrived at a point where I told myself that +7 years are more than enough. After all, I was a young, adult man and did not want to wear braces all my life. So I asked my orthodontist to remove the fixed braces and give me an alternative, which I can take on and off when I want.

It was possible and the first time I feel very comfortable, but after only a few weeks I noticed that my teeth move back into a crooked position. As you might imagine, it was an absolute shock to me. I had so many years fixed braces and now everything is crooked? I was crying to be honest.

Shortly thereafter, I reported to my orthodontist and told him about all the problems. He was not surprised or shocked, but knew exactly why this happened. According to his statements, it was due to my too narrow jaw. The teeth do not have enough free space to stay in a straight position. A fixed brace holds the teeth, so to speak, but without it, they will again be crooked. These are at least the information I received.

The only solution was an extension of the jaw (rapid maxillary expansion appliance - see the attached photos), so the teeth have more space.

My opinion: Instead of moving the teeth into different positions, we should concentrate on the root cause of crooked teeth, a narrow upper and lower jaw. By expanding the jaw carefully, you will appear more attractive and the body will be guided to a more anatomically balanced face. This will then make room for their teeth.

There are devices like that on your photo (as an example "Myobrace" - http://www.myobrace.com/) allow to move teeth into a straight position. But is it a permanent solution for all problems? Not in my opinion.

Yes, as you have already mentioned correctly, these devices can break very easily. As a child or adolescent, however, this is not a problem because it is always possible to replace and fix it to the palate. In the adult age it is unfortunately completely different, since the bones are firm and must be corrected with a surgery, in order to use a rapid maxillary expansion appliance. No, I'm not an orthodontist. I can and will not guarantee that my knowledge is correct, so please take it with a grain of salt.

I would like to tell you that in my opinion you should visit another ("good") orthodontist to investigate whether your jaw is too narrow or not. If this is the case, you need this device (rapid maxillary expansion appliance) to make the jaw wider so that the teeth have more free space. If you're lucky (which I really hope for you) and your jaw is not too narrow, I would recommend a brace like "Myobrace" to push your teeth into a straight position.

If I have understood everything correctly, "mewing" is the following:

1) "Mewing is correct oral posture with teeth and lips together and tongue up at the roof of the mouth. I have made sure I keep my tongue up at the palate 24/7. I also do tongue exercises and press hard at the palate like 20 times a day with my thump and tongue."

2) "Idea is the tongue against the roof prevents the face from elongating further by providing support and that due to bone remodeling your fWHR will improve slowly."

3) "When you press your tongue on the roof your mouth for hours each day, it really works out your muscles."

4) "I think it's just teeth together, lips together, whole tongue on the roof of the mouth. That's just normal oral posture actually. Mewing I guess is just those 3 things and pushing up hard against the upper palate."

According to information from other people on various Internet forums, you can also chew regular gums. Nevertheless, I would recommend Mastiha or Falim, because they are usually harder and do not contain harmful, artificial sweeteners or sugars. Of course only if you have no problems with the taste. In the end, everyone should choose for themselves what they spend their money on.

Usually after I take a hiatus from /fit/ I come back to find vegan propaganda. This time it's some one promoting the work of Weston A. Price.

I'm fucking proud of you, /fit/

Price is the ultimate redpill of nutrition. Price himself had to learn the hard way. When he first started his research he was a typical vegetarian trying to prove the dangers of meat, but by the time he was done he had made a complete 180. I don't think OP quite explained Price's ideal diet very well. It should contain lots of fatty cuts of grass fed meat. The meat should be eaten raw every once in awhile. Organ meats are a must. Raw grass fed beef liver is pretty much the ultimate food. It should contain lots of fresh vegetables, and a significant portion of them should be pickled through traditional fermentation. Fresh fruit is ok. Grains should be soaked and/or fermented before consumption to eliminate the phytates and other antinutrients. Soy is only OK if its fermented, and even then should not be eaten frequently. The exception being natto, which most people find disgusting. You can eat a little bit every day if you want. It's loaded with K2.

Thank you very much for your interesting and great question.

In my opinion, many conventional toothpastes contain dangerous toxins such as artificial sweeteners and sugar substitutes, emulsifiers (polyethylene glycols), synthetic preservatives (parabens), abrasives, surfactants (sodium lauryl sulfate), triclosan, which *can* trigger allergies, irritate the skin, damage a healthy oral flora, the tooth enamel and dry the mucous membrane of the mouth.

I myself use a natural toothpaste that contains nothing but xylitol, essential oils, purified water and clay. It is also easily possible to produce this with only a few favorable ingredients at home.

If you are interested and want a finished one, I can recommend you with a good conscience the Earthpaste (http://www.earthpaste.com/).

In addition, I use bentonite clay (+ zeolite, spirulina, chlorella) to absorb all kinds of pollutants. It also relieves the liver and kidney, protects the intestine, reduces bacteria count, helps with mouth odor, gum problems, pimples, acne, radioactivity and supports the discharge of mercury (amalgam in the teeth).

- Bentonite clay (+facial mud): I fill my shaker with half a liter of water every morning and add three small plastic spoons of the bentonite clay, mix it for a few minutes, drink it and wait a few hours until I eat something (such as fruit). I do this for the detoxification of the body. I apply the facial mud on my face once a week. If you want, you can add apple cider vinegar from the company "Bragg".

Algae such as spirulina and chlorella: Due to several amalgam fillings the past few years, I use these two algae to discharge heavy metals from the body. Each day three small plastic spoons of each algae mixed with water in a shaker (best on an empty stomach). With these products, I would pay attention to good quality and not just for a reasonable price. Poor and inferior products can harm health. But please do not misunderstand me. Not everything that is expensive is automatically better. Not everything that is cheap is automatically bad.

SUMMARY

Vitamin A is an essential nutrient and is added to a variety of foods in the developed world and to specific foods in developing countries. Ideally, vitamin A status is monitored as part of public health programs to prevent the occurrence of both subclinical deficiency and toxicity. The deleterious effects of vitamin A deficiency are known, but further research is needed to ascertain whether subclinical toxicity exists and, if so, what are its effects on overall health and well-being.

rofl, did he even read it himself? In relation to the toxic effect of vitamin A it was done by directly injecting it into the tissue, ridiculous

consider the following:

for a long time I've been interested in human meal replacements, so much so I've followed the new soylent since its beginnings,

unfortunately none of the candidates options even came close to being available in my country

but still they all share share one thing which goes against them, they're all tasteless sloshs, like a nutrient paste

so lately I've been thinking, we not only need the strong array of nutrients available but also a hard crunchy thing to chew on

according to Mr Dr Mike Mew, a hard thing to strongly chew on is essential work for you facial muscles and bones, even so dental health

as its demonstrated in not only this thread, but a few others on this board

so what is a meal replacement that has a hard crunch? animal rations that's what

and for the same too, dog ration is usually hard for the dogs to work out and keep strong bones, and not only that, they really seem to like it

so I was thinking, did anyone ever try consuming dog ration? how hard would it be for a similar thing like that to be developed for humans

and furthermore, what about the ingredients they use? is it good healthy stuff? but certainly pets have been eating this shit for decades and doesn't seem to get side effects

 No.127268

I'm a fan of Weston A. Price, but I fucking hate people who claim to be his successors, because they're all dangerous quacks who twist his words.

To see this for yourself, just go on Facebook's "cure tooth decay" group and see how half the people attempting pseudo-Price self medication end up failing and having even more dental problems.

What's worse is that they think eating "grass fed" for a few months is going to cause their cavities to fill themselves with dentin, a theory for which there's extremely little evidence.

In fact, what Dr. Price's own interventions show is that a healed cavity will still be there. He fed extremely nutritious diets to kids who had rotted teeth from extremely poor diets that you could hardly imagine - and the result upon x-ray was that a healed tooth would be remineralized and hardened into a glossy surface.

It's a known mineral deposit phenomenon that even mainstream dentistry acknowledges. In fact, they can now offer mineral pastes like Recaldent to patients after a dental cleaning. If you look at clinical trials of Recaldent, it's not very different from what scientists found with nutritional interventions.

>Antinutrient

Why is it everyone who tells you how to eat "Weston A Price's diet" tells you to avoid "phytate" from grains when he was a huge advocate of switching to whole grains? If you read the interventions in his book, he was feeding kids "freshly ground whole wheat buns" and they weren't even sourdough.

The idea of antinutrients being a huge deal is a carryover from the paleotards who had to find a reason other than gluten to reject grains. The research studies they use only look at rats fed white bread with phytic acid soaked into the bread, because actual whole grains contain so many minerals that it would cancel out minerals being bound to phytate.

Phytate itself is actually a storage form of phosphorus in seeds, not some kind of plant weapon against herbivores.

See also, this: https://selfhacked.com/blog/phytic-acid-the-ultimate-anti-aging-compound/

>[avoid] fluoridated water & toothpaste

Fluoride is a trace mineral that you're going to get if you even just drink water from a spring. It's even in legumes.

If you just don't overuse it, it is fine and will harden your teeth. The point of having it in toothpaste is that you put it right on your teeth in the most efficient way and then spit the excess out.

Most people don't even know how to brush right. You don't use a lot of mechanical pressure, you need to brush gently to ensure full contact but not brutal scraping - in circles over both tooth and gum from the wisdom teeth forward, to move plaque away from the gum line. Then floss in a sawing motion all the way under the gums and against the teeth like you're polishing the surface.

Another factor that you have to take into account with the facial deformities seen, is that it could be an interaction of diet and environment, rather than diet or genes.

The late Brian Palmer, D.D.S., had an excellent website up on the causes of dental arch deformities in children, which manifest into deformities in the whole lower face.

While poor diet might make the body more susceptible to deformity due to lower bone density and underdevelopment, the most obvious cause is when the child isn't properly breastfed.

A newborn will learn to suck the nipple in a certain way that aligns with and strengthens the palate. If the child is taken away at a crucial time, he'll develop improper feeding practices (or use a bottle). This causes unnatural forces that cave in the soft palate.

One example of this in action would be Eastern Europe under the USSR, where the medical conventional wisdom was to keep newborns away from the mother for a period of time.

The principle pretty well stands that when you remove humans from what nature intended, they get more and more deformed. Unnatural diet destroys your body, circumcision causes sexual dysfunction, overbuilt shoes crush and deform toes, baby bottle feeding fucks up your face, etc.

Also, going back to diet:

To me the tooth decay diet would mean:

-Cut away simple sugars or clean the shit out of your teeth on contact.

-Get your carbs from unrefined and highly fibrous foods. (This means carrots and sweet potators are superior to white rice, which is probably superior to honey. Chocolate candy bars with sugar are not food and barely even chocolate to boot.)

-Eat high quality fat soluble vitamin sources like fish or mussels, and lots of vitamin C.

-Have a constant mineral intake, not megadoses of calcium but a balance of everything.

-Drink water.

-Still brush softly twice a day and floss nightly.

Lol, the people in this thread telling others to cut out sugar - even refined sugar - are such fucking gains goblins. Yes, you want to keep your teeth and mouth clean so the sugar doesn't feed bacteria in the mouth, but the sugar once digested stimulates the thyroid axis which will aid in proper facial and dental development. You simply cannot expect to have proper facial development in your childhood if you aren't getting enough carbs, and anyone attempting these sorts of changes as an adult is woefully misguided if they cut the carbs and will experience the slowest gains possible if they get any gains at all.

>even refined sugar

even? Refined sugar is crap, but refined sugar is just one type of carb. You do not need sugar bombs to keep the thyroid working at maximum. It's insulin, not carbs directly that cause the T4 to T3 conversion, and again, only one guy in this thread even mentioned keto, and that was specifically for weight loss and aesthetics as an adult, not pediatric bone development. You can still raise insulin without carbs.

Though, since your brought it up, I feel fucking great on keto. I do my lifts fasted (always have), and eat afterwards. My lifts go up just fine. Does that mean I think everyone should do keto and/or lift fasted? No. Some people pass out if they try to lift in a fasted state. I've always preferred it, even before I tried keto. I don't think everyone should do keto, either. It's undeniable that a very significant number of people get amazing results from it, especially for weight loss, but even for gains.

TL;DR, Wrong.

I'm one of the guys who say to cut out refined sugar if your primary concern is tooth decay, but for gains, he's right. If you're a skinny guy and get too picky with what you eat, you remain skinny.

Keto bulking, vegan bulking, etc belong on the internet where the 2% of freaks who can pull it off get to brag.

let me just link this here, good article, it relates not only nutrition and health, but the environments changes

tl:dr

there is increased carbon dioxide due to global warming, this leads to increased plant growth because of increased photosynthesis

plants grow bigger have higher macro nutrients (carbs) but lesser micro nutrients

this in turn leads to crash of animal populations in the wild, and eventually our own

I envisioned a future with overgrown vegetation and collapsed civilization, ala Avatar or Jurassic Park

Carbon dioxide helps animals too. You just read propaganda from a political journalism company. In reality every animal that experiences a higher carbon dioxide ratio either becomes bigger, stronger, longer lived, more resistant to cancer and diseases in general, or all of these things simultaneously.

The naked mole rat is a prime example. They live in burrows with very little circulation and rebreath a great percentage of their expelled CO2. In a laboratory, it is extremely difficult to experimentally induce cancer in these animals, and they are well known for this peculiarity. Bats frequently live in caves where they create a concentrated CO2 environment, and it is not uncommon for them to live longer than animals of comparable size. Bees sometimes concentrate CO2 around the queen to activate her ovaries. Most animals will develop cancer should they try to become as big as an elephant or whale; but the secret behind the elephant's size may in fact be its trunk which has the potential to be a CO2 reservoir, and as for whales, the reason is much simpler: they spend much of the time with held breath. Bowhead whales are particularly extraordinary, capable of living over 200 years. Some tortoises have been known to live in similarly extreme age ranges, and even though they aren't forced to hold their breaths as turtles would underwater, they are still inhibited from breathing in the same manner as many other animals due to their shells constricting their rib cages and abdomens. [1]

Crocodiles and manatees are particularly relevant to this thread. Both are polyphyodonts, meaning they continually replace their teeth throughout their lives (unlike diphyodonts such as humans that are typically, but not universally, limited to two sets). The crocodile has at least two major environmental advantages to dental health: 1. A high concentration of CO2 from holding breath underwater. 2. Direct exposure of the teeth to red light from the Sun because they are not concealed by lips or cheeks. Manatees are unique in being the only known mammalian polyphyodont, and it would not surprise me if it had something to do with how they hold their breaths underwater. But, alas, whales are somewhat of an enigma in that they are usually monophyodonts (one set of teeth) but this may be a tradeoff they employ from being able to keep teeth unusually long.

This CO2 business is one of the primary reasons why sugar - even refined sugar - should not be overlooked for the purpose of dental health, as the oxidation of glucose produces more C02 (50% more is a figure that I have read.) than the oxidation of dietary fat. Yes, it is important to keep the teeth clean, but in my experience starches are more likely to stick to the teeth and cause the eventual growth of bacteria than sugar alone.

Another often overlooked enemy of teeth and bone mineralization is endotoxin produced in the gut from feeding undesirable bacteria. Sugars are more likely than starches to be quickly absorbed in the small intestine before they can feed such bacteria in the lower intestine that produces this endotoxin.

Now that is very interesting. Sauce plox.

So explain the caffeine please. I really enjoy my coffee, like 5 cups of coffee in the morning and a double shot drink in the afternoon.

Also does a water filter remove a lot of fluoride or am I still fucked?

You need a filter that separates chemicals for fluoride. Most of this stuff isn't helpful if you're not in your early or mid-teens if you're already an adult shit like Mewing won't help bone growth since it's already set and hardened.

I'm not here to outright say it's bad, but this will give you more information. You generally don't want prolactin elevated unless you want to lactate. Seeing as how there is an epidemic of gynecomastia, avoidance of gluten may be more valuable in a modern environment. There is some talk of gluten being involved with autism too, but why ask here when you can use a scholarly search engine to find papers yourself?

I figure, humanity got enough nutrients to evolve to where we are now by hunting and gathering. We consumed meat, and fruits and vegetables that can be picked off a plant and eaten as-is. Processing grains into edible form was a recent concept in the total timeline of humanity, and you can live just fine without it. Dairy also, you're supposed to stop drinking milk when you grow up enough to release your mom's tits. Most races on earth are lactose intolerant past an early age, and only white people in the north aren't, because the comparative lack of sunlight means we need the nutrients dairy has. But if you made sure to spent time outside and get enough sun, you wouldn't really need dairy either. Basically anything that requires any kind of man-made processing, it could be argued, is bad for you. It's stuff we don't need, and we only do it because it tastes good or because we're trying to make more food out of less supply.
