Hello /fa/, first time poster.

Lets discuss hats.

Since america was tamed by men wearing some of the most iconic types pf hats there is, I was wondering if they have "model names".

What im chasing after is the type looking like pic related.

A high up brim, I have always associated them with either texas or deep south/midwest.

I did some research, and supposedly, "modding" your hat was a way to differentiate between ranch affiliation. Knowing that, do I just take a regular hat and just shape it however I want? What do you suggest?

But in reality it has more to do with what ranch you are from. So yah just mod it how you want, just dont look like a total fag

Straw hats are nice but they break EZ

The black ones in your op are called tejanas or texans, they are nice but they are not good in the rain and are used moreso for going to dances or weddings.

I would recommend getting the white ones in pic related as they are more durable, of course they do not have to be curved like that as it varies from region and ranch.

Butas a beaner it is my duty to preserve the tradition of this iconic hat, so find your self some cowboy friends

or mexicans, just not from the south part cuz they are smelly libshit indjuns with big round straw hats and adopt their style
