I personally think what he is describing is that type of obnoxious life coaching we have here but in negative tone. If he would told me he is about to run his internet business, I would tell him yeah, whatever man, who cares. I don't think doomer necessarily means to put people down, quite the opposite maybe - when we have here those young people, we mostly tell them how they still have opportunity to turn life for the better. If you see a path for you and you can do something out of yourself, good for you, go for it but why should I feel hyped about it? I hate Arch Linux so I don't watch him but he put some good video out about GNU troff, just I can't take seriously anybody who tries to be varg and greet people with hi zoomers.

GNU/Varg is just his shtick, he doesn't take it seriously either. Yeah, troff was really useful to me when I had to configure a static website generator to include an option to download a printable version of the current page. It's better to use something included with the OS rather than a 1 GB package with tons of shit you don't need.
