I tried to get through the week without drinking alcohol or smoking pot but sure enough on the first day sober depression hit hard and so did insomnia.

Of course i tried to distract myself with doin my homework more accurate then before and i starting jogging, this helped to even my serotonin levels out alot.

And because im in such a good mood i will celebrate today with pot, cheap rum and beer.

What are you guys up to tonight?

If you got no plans, hop in and post a pic of your setup and send some music suggestions if you want, lets smoke some cigs together and let us try to enjoy what is left.

A few weekends late, but I found video games to be a great way to stop myself from drinking and smoking. Felt like I wouldn't play as well if I was smacked.

I listened to the song The Less I Know the Better by Tame Impala today. Makes me think of femoids gone by.

Thats ironic bc people still think video games are detrimental. Yet they think alcohol is "mature", even if it can be too essily abused.

In America, adults are more worried about young people on video games than they are about them becoming drunks.

the difference is alcohol is used socially and a lot of what makes a person succesful is his ability to bond and socialize with others. Even if it is over some poison. If you are taking a drink with friends or with a hottie from the office or your boss you are an up and coming young achiever well on its way but videogames are seen as the opposite, as a solitary pursuit with no end goal.

Obviously i am only talking about the general perception of both habits. Theres plenty of examples of the opposite being true, lonely alcoholics and gamers with large social circles and interactions through their hobby. But the general gist is that the booze drinker is a fun amicable dude enjoying life while the gamer is a manchild basement dweller with no friends and a burden and a shame to his family.

I swear to God, whites are so schizophrenic. They are obsessed with social competence, yet people who're bubbly and amicable are seen as shallow trendsheep to be frowned at in secret.

What's even more fucked up is going to prison for pirating movies over two decades old, where the actors and producers made money off of long since.

Or how marijuana is still looked at as evil and immature.

Meanwhile, alcoholism is excused.

Even the church sees alcoholism as just "having an extra drink on Saturday night."

Crack addicts are seen as goblins, even if they quit.

The only thing that's more easily accepted than alcohol is tobacco but even then, it's seen as a liability bc cigarette butts.

Where? the third world? china? highschool? specially in first world smoking has a soft ban and you will be asked to leave most places if you light up. Places where it is allowed is frowned upon and people make pissy faces if you smell of cigar and karens loudly complain, is one of the things right and left are equally moralfags, unless you are in Tijuana or something.

But marihuana IS inmature and crack addicts ARE goblins. Doesn`t mean alcoholic are any less of a wreck but one does not excuse the other.
